For Moff Gideon's tie fighter you can swap out the 2x2 round plates with 1x2 clip and hook pieces, then add some 1x1 clips to make it dock like it does in the show

I don't know, that's a tough challenge - I am probably going to try to do that in part 4. If you remove the droid's legs you can try to attach the arms somehow using those holes but I'm not sure the exact piece to use. I will try it for part 4 if I can
