Here's a cool trick: if you have geomancer and someone who can spread debuffs (I have Vizier), time Geo's quicksand and another champ's debuffs spread so that every heads gets it. Not only that the burns will proc on every head for 3, potentially 4 turns if you have the mastery, it'll also ensure that the heads deal massive damage to themselves! And Vizier also allows me to extend those debuffs, but he has to be quite fast in order to do that for every head. Even when one of the heads eats one of my champions, it only takes them one smack to spit them right out, because most of their hits are AOE and they hit pretty damn hard, so they receive a big smack back to their ugly faces! :D

One thing I would add for mobile only players, the Mark of the Hydra has a countdown that is not easy to see on mobile. But you can always hit info to see how far out it is before you decide if you want to use now or hold that big ability to help free them.

It's shown, when you're on the main hydra screen where you can select which difficulty to hit, use the top left icon. Serpents will buff is listed there.

Next tips - don't use decr. def and weaken on heads when they are just to be killed, because they lose debuffs when decapitated and they respawn before you get skill ready. And damage on neck with or without decr. def and weaken is massively different. Try to kill mischief, torment, blight and wrath as fast as possible, because these are most squishy, so you can ramp up the damage. Try to place poisons with Venus on Suffering head, it has most HP, so poisons do most damage to it. If heal reduction from Decay causes you problems, let it cleanse debuffs sometimes and not keeping provoke all the time. You can reapply your debuffs just after cleanse if you keep your abilities to right moment. When you have Cup+Venus team, you need to deal with torment head, because your Cupidus lose half of his attacks

Tip 1: Know what the heads do & use your eyes Tip 2: Know what the heads do Tip 3: Adjust your roster according to the monthly rotation Tip 4: Know the stat threshold for your max hp based damage dealers required to deal 10% (capped) of the heads hp Tip 5: Evaluate the situation; identify your primary threat(s) (poison cloud, head of wrath damage, buffs being stolen) and use your abilities (buffs/debuffs/damage) accordingly Tip 6: Use a dedicated head of mischief tank with high resist by stacking buffs on that champion (lightning cage, blood shield, etc) Tip 7: Try and land brimstone on head of suffering (the head which uses its a1 the least) Tip 8: Know what the heads do (hex debuff mitigates head of mischief redirecting attacks) Tip 9: Know what the heads do (decapitating mischief head resets the TM of other heads) Tip 10: Using hp burn remains an excellent way of doing damage (although each tick a head takes adds a stack to the head of wrath) Tada.

I have some niche tips something I don't see many mention, if all 4 heads are decapitated at the same time when one revives they will also revive at random another head that has 1 turn left of decapitation. i only really encounter this with Trunda deleting all heads but occasionally things just line up where i have the option to kill all 4. paired with your tm tip it's really annoying if you kill a head with full tm and then he instantly drops to 1 turn left and then instantly revives because of another head. brimstone will trigger from hydra heads eating your champions even though it isn't listed as a useable skill. it's not something I've ever planned for but it's a nice when it happens champions that do random attacks' will ignore mischief's redirect. the first hit will always select your target. it's something I've noticed with mythrala. I may one day try to make a mischief tank Thea because she can always land hex with her a1 whenever you need it

What a great video my man. I have just been blindly smacking at Hydro since it has come out. I two key brutal, then 1 key hard and call it a week. And most of these tips I never knew or paid attention to especially serpents will. I was always confused why sometimes I would attack a head and do way less damage than I should have. I just chopped it up to R&G and moved on

Serpent's Will Reduces all damage a new Head takes by 75%. It starts working once the dead Head is transformed into a new Head and is active until the new Head makes its first move. This buff can't be removed, stolen, or multiplied. Also, its duration can't be increased or decreased.

Great content Hell!! Have you also noticed that if you burn the shield down on an enemy, it stuns them. Plus it's easier to free a champ if the shield's already gone. Not sure if it's worth it though.

I think if a head had a burn on it and gets its turn and procs the burn and that causes it to pop the head, it will start its turn as a popped head and then only have 1 turn to respawn.

An idea for a tool on your web page. How about a Hydra planner? What I would be happy to see - a facility where I can select all 3 teams for hydra at the same time. Also, it should show suggested (with posibility to change) priorities for roles that my teams supposed to cover. For example, I selected a team, and I see that for given roration, I should have increase/decrease speed and defense. And I see that, for example, I have 3 of those 4 - I am missing decrease speed, so I continue to shuffle my champs untill I get 3 combinations of champions that satisfy the most of the requirenments. Again, no optimization is required from the web - only a tool that will help me to optimize it by myself.

He can't steal Krisk, that Coldbrew's champion, where he beat DWJ. Just he uses Krisk on his normal hydra teams, probably in NM.

I tried those settings on my husk and it gave me the exact same build with 250 crit dmg. Not sure if it's my Great Hall being weaker, tried it on hard, added the 30% resist AoE etc...Optimizer gives me the same builds either way

On this rotation I don't know why more people are not using Warchief. I get he only does one thing which is provoked but I slap Brimstone on him for the extra damage, and he has a three turn provoke on a two-turn cooldown. He will completely lock that head down the whole fight. Just got to make sure you're not putting Brimstone on the head that you are provoking. I normally try to put it on the blue head or the Tanki had

Decapitated heads take a ton more damage on their crits. I always team up on that head until it grows back for a better score

My secret to hydra success, resist arura, doompriest and Mithrala. Geo for reflect damage. Ninja for DPS, and a few champs for heals and sheilds

I would not put Lightning Cage on Krisk. He puts a heal oh him and the Head of Mischief constantly steals it and puts it on the other heads (On easy with 500 resist). But one tip I say helps me in all my Hydra battles is putting Cruelty on an AOE Champ like Krisk. In each team. Reducing the def makes them so much faster to kill as well as freeing eaten heads as well.

I have 11th tip. Don't manual hydra, so you will not need these 10 tips. Hydra should work on auto, or at least semi auto (when you just target the head which swallowed the champ)
