I watch a lot of your interviews with these lottery winners, but this one by far was the best. It was very educational of what to do when you win who to talk to about that brokerage account and that’s a lot of money. You just can’t put it in a bank because the bank is only going to Secure your money of $250,000. I thought money like that if you didn’t have a brokers account you would’ve had to put it in 40 different banks and credit unions. This is good to know and I never knew about a brokerage account. This is good. This is good information. Best interview hands-down Thank you Mr. Hahn on sharing his information. It was much appreciated.!!

Wonderful interview Timothy! I didn't know big lottery wire transfers go to brokerage firms. I wonder if a big bank like JP Morgan and its crème de la crème of private banking ($10 million minimum) could handle it for new winners?

I would immediately pay my student loan, any debts my direct family might have and then I would wait a few weeks to cool down and plan how to manage the money. I would then look for a good financial advisor and slowly start learning how to handle it and make it grow, so I can not only build a stable and safe future for myself, but also to be able to support others in their life path. Bradley seems like a really good family guy. He truly deserved it. I wish the same for all of us

Great interview! Another positive story about a lottery winner. If I won I'd pay off all my debts, invest, and retire early. There are some places I'd like to visit, but with Covid raging, that's probably not in the cards. One thing he did point out was these luxury items, big house, fancy cars, etc. also have upkeep and maintenance expenses which aren't cheap, so that's something else to think about when winning. Some of this other advice is also worth considering. He sounds like a good guy and I'm happy that he won and hope he continues to have a good life.

I was in shock when he said the prize went from 10m down to 3.8m! In New Zealand there's no tax on lottery winnings. You win 10m you keep 10m. Tax is theft.

I know my extended family would be asking for money. They do now. My husband and I have given away thousands of dollars but when he got laid off no one offered to help us except my sister. Now we know not to give away money to family.
