That Dad cheering his kid in the hospital made me bawl like a school girl. I literally got up from my desk and had to walk outside for a bit I have 3 lil princesses and that just broke me.

I was around 5 years old when my great grandmother died. I visited the hospital with my father while she was on her death bed. Her last wish in life was to hold my hand, but i was too shy to do it. At the time i didn't understand what was going on, i was too shy and selfish to hold her hand. She died just a few days later. And now that i am 22 years old i understand. I remember her crying when me and my parents left the room she was in. And i feel completely wrecked about it.

Your gran would love you even if you were too shy to hold her hand. She wouldn't want you to suffer over this. Forgive 5 year old you & honour her by living a good life, doing your best & being a kind person. She will always be alive in your heart ❤🙏

You were only a small child, please don't let that decision haunt you. Your grandmother would forgive you instantly, you had no way of knowing. Being 22 and having this level of empathy shows you're a person She'd be proud of. Head up.

So beautiful seeing men not afraid to cry under these circumstances. I've noticed there's a big difference from men in the USA to men here in the UK. It is *definitely* not the done thing here for men to cry. I love that men in the US seem more willing and comfortable to show their emotions when it's a time of high emotion. ..Just how it should be (IMO) Anyways I balled to every one of these! Lol ❤ And I truly hope that little sweetheart in the hospital is better now. Seeing anyone sick in hospital is awful, but seeing babies is 💔
