The problem with CC is that he makes the breaks but never finishes them off and he tends to run away from his support he's also suspect in defence hopefully he can improve on these things.

The blessing and curse of superior genetics. He has never had problems running through, over and around everyone, so his ability to make a line break, draw the defenders and put someone else away is not where it needs to be. He should have easily out Tupea away

Great player offensively but you could equally make a 10 minutes of Caleb Clarke being bad at rugby compilation of all his defensive blunders.
@ryanredversmusic2 жыл бұрын
I don’t get your point - you could say that about every player. I once saw BOD miss a tackle live with my own eyes, but he’s still the best 13 of all time…
@reitheartist2 жыл бұрын
@@ryanredversmusic Your point does make a lot of sense. I think it’s just in recent memory he hasn’t been great defensively(maybe the last 3 months). Not saying that he’s bad defensively. It’s just a couple games in a row he hasn’t been up to his usual form.

@ryanredversmusic2 жыл бұрын
@@dhufishhunter6455 no fair enough! I just think that it sounded a bit harsh, given that he’s young but with huge potential. There’s no need to call for a video with 10 minutes of bad decisions or mistakes because you could do the same with any player…
@J286b2 жыл бұрын
He’s a terrible defender and yes you could make a video of players over the span of their careers but this guy hasn’t shown signs of improving his defence. Also I would argue he is terrible at linking with other players, once he makes a break there are players in support but he runs lines that put them out of supporting lines. Hope to see him improve in those areas.

Ball in hand he's incredible, one of the most devestating runners in the game right now, his decision making and defence are actually pretty below the standard of a top class international winger in my opinion.

How to play Rugby. An excitement machine. What the fans want to see..busting tackles, great runs. So early in his All Black career. If he can reproduce that form over and over and over again he can be an All Black great.

Honestly, not to diss the guy because he clearly has insane talent, but I don't consider him a good player. look at 2:06 because thats just one of many examples of where a truly good player would make a pass to create a try but he is a bit too consumed with just how talented and fast and powerful he is. He is gifted for sure but the merit of a good player isnt how strong or skilful they are, but rather how they can contribute to the team, and while the huge m he makes contribute, he isn't contributing what he is truly capable of adding to whatever team he is playing in. (also not the best defender) awesome video nonetheless
