First time I saw him period was the MDA Telethon in 1994. My Dad had Muscular Dystrophy so we watched every year. That's also how I discovered Josh Blue.

@ The first time I saw the MDA telethon was in 1972. My Mom was watching it and my sister and I got interested. We went out and knocked on doors collecting money for about five hours in the pouring rain. It felt good to help. In high school we volunteered at the local phone bank during the show. We always took the overnight hours because none of the other volunteers wanted to stay up all night.

I had a convenience store, I had that same bowl. The alarm went off in the middle of the night. Glad I didn’t have my gun out or I woulda unloaded on my store. There were some lights on but it was dark. I’m glad my cameras didnt cover the area I was in. I sure I jumped and screamed like a little girl… lol. I’m like a 6 foot fireman, it woulda been a laff for way too many..

I sincerely wish that this man was still as great of a comedian as He once was. I saw him two years in a row in the Grand Rapids a few years ago and He was not quite as good as when I was an older kid/ young teen.
