There was also an interview with Mackenzie Phillip s about the scene in American Graffiti about the water balloon that's thrown into John's car, bouncing off, hitting her in the face! She started laughing unexpectedly and George Lucas liked the reaction and left that take in the movie!

No. While some of these might get actual bloopers, many are not. Most people have no clue just how complicated a set is and how LITTLE gets filmed each day. EVERYTHING is planned out to great detail. When you see "mistakes" in movies, especially if there is coverage (multiple angles) you should always be highly suspicious. Even when the talent goes on the marketing tour you might hear them say that 'this or that' was impromptu or a mistake that was left in... but you shouldn't trust them, as they're saying whatever they have to to sell the movie (that's part of their job, according to contract). How many times have you heard an actor say, "NO CGI was used at all in this film" yet the film is littered with CGI?
