I started a shop in whitesprings. In the past two days I've made 250 caps doing nothing but sitting in a chair(In game and irl lol) and selling chems and explosives to people. Its actually pretty Godamn fun

C.leyva no, players are selling things to other players. The npc vendor resets every RL 24h from what I’ve seen, makes it a lot easier to sell to other players. I had a level 53 player buy 25 purified water from me last night for 200 caps because his camp got wrecked and he couldn’t afford the repair costs. It’s surprisingly easy to buy and sell in game even if they don’t have a mic. I play on Xbox and messages are how I sell most things, people just randomly message me or approach my camp looking to trade since I’m just north of silo alpha.

Fusion Core storage: Incorrect, you may store power armor in a stash with any amount of fusion cores without them disappearing, just don’t try to reequip it before removing the extra cores.

I just hopped off fallout 76 and I was lvl 11 exploring a nuclear blast zone and all I had was a gas mask equipped and I was taking no radiation damage

The radiation in nuke zones is a bit glitchy atm, if you walk in normally you should see a super high radiation level. But some things seem to glitch it out sometimes (ie: dying and respawning inside the zone, time elapsed, receiving x amount of damages, etc)

You can actually store fusion cores into power armor frames that your not using and as long as you dont enter into that frame it wont eat up your fusion cores therefore you carry them on you and not worry about weight

Something I discovered that I don't think I saw on any of these feature series you've done, are scout towers. If you climb to the top of a forest ranger tower and face the railing and look out, it gives you the option to search the area, and it will uncover all of the undiscovered points of interest surrounding that tower for a good long distance.

Power armor is the way to go unless you want to perk into not wearing power armor. I just got the chameleon mutation so I’m getting those (No Power Armor) perks. I got 3 pieces of Weightless armors and I got my Vault suit upgraded.

You "can" store fusion core in power armor frames but you should know the following rules: - If you get in it, all the extras will disappear (make sure to remove all but 1 fusion core if you plan on using that armor) - You "can't" send more then 1 fusion core (stack/solo) of a given value in the frame but you "can" send a full stack of the same value. (ie: if you have a 50% in the frame and try to send an other 50%, it will disappear. But if you have a stack of 10 50% fusion core and none in the frame, you can transfer it) I've got one frame in my stash that keeps 20-40 fusion cores at a time for only 10lbs Many fusion cores were lost while figuring out these rules.. Don't make my loss go in vain XD

There's actually a bug in the game to where if your in power armor with an almost depleted fusion core you can log out and log into a server and your fusion core will be fully charged to 100%. Its pretty convenient if your only fusion core is about to run out. :^)

I’ve always found that plans will tend to respawn. When not present, it was often due to a player who came through.

Kyo Actually from what I have learned that plan is specifically “locally” based. In other words my friend can grab it, but to me it is still there. A “proper” example would be the “market street” at the raider camp north of The Top Of The World. You can find a fair number of plans, recipes, and mods there.

So something I stumbled across yesterday was that when I climbed to the top of a lookout tower, it gave me the option to “survey the area” which revealed all the locations nearby. They were still grayed out but it gave their names.

Daily reminder do not use "Fix it Good" or "Weapon Artisan" at 200% if you do your weapon will repair to 200% but once hit or you hit an enemy it'll reset to 100%. Also when crafting a weapon with high intelligence the increased durability for amount invested in intelligence will reset to 100% once you hit an enemy or be hit by once.

@@grantmendoza8774 no it's a bug if you look at the durability and damage once you do what I said above it drops drastically. If you still think it's a visual glitch repair your weapon to 200% the compare your first hit with all the others or look at your durability and compare from original from repaired with perk card

Thanks alot, i found several of these helpful. Especially the one about being able to pick cards not associated with the skill you pick. I didn't know you could cycle and was kinda bummed out when I hit 15 intellect I thought I would have to get random pack perk cards every 5 levels to max out remaining perks.

So I had this glitch once where I had 3 canned dog food in my inventory, but it wouldn’t show the texture for it in the pip-boy. So, I tapped R3 (PS4 btw) to inspect it. It turned into .308 ammo.

The problem with picking up "melee" perk cards to help with a talons character is that talons does not affect fist weapons, only bare-handed attacks, and perk cards like the melee attack speed one demonstrably do not affect bare handed attacks, only attacks with "unarmed weapons". So talons is generally worthless except for when you fast travel back to the forest for whatever reason and you don't want to spend weapon durability on the enemies there.

Another thing about vendors, they reset their inventory everyday, so if you emptied their caps the day before and they show zero caps, sell them a 1 cap item and it will show the 199 caps it has left.

I believe the Starched Genes perk card blocks you from mutating, and also blocks you from losing your mutations as well.

Awesome fast leveling tip for parties of 4, all of you get 9 Cha and share inspirational 3 because it stacks for up to a 60% bonus xp boost. Really nice for bringing up low level characters

I think server hopping is just fine and a great way to fulfill anything that you need or can't get due to other people getting something before you or to help balance the slowness of respawns if you need a response faster then what happened.

It's essentially impossible to farm the mutations that you want. But the easiest way to do it is to go to any body of water. Sit in it til you die. Respawn collect loot if you have to then continue. Once you get the mutation then save and quit and then go back in. after figuring that out i have 18 mutations in roughly an hour. Make sure startched genes is unequipped while doing this though. You don't need to equip every time and you don't need to heal. HOpefully this helps people.

When it comes to farming mutations, there is actually a pool outside right next to the enterance into the mine so you dont actually have to fight any mobs inside the mine.

Do not drop fusion cores. There is no limit to how many fusion cores you can put into your armor. Whenever you pick up a fusion core, just transfer it to your power armor. The fusion core does not add to the weight of your armor.

Perk sharing also work very well with the. One that drops a targets damage by 30% for 2 seconds... It stacks... Ive also had problems of my perk cards changing or in general duplicating... I wish there was a way to re roll them

I noticed after doing some testing if you share an card that a friend has already for example rifleman 3 the damage doesn't stack it'll just cancel out the shared card.

Lol okay(all weapons listed are level 50) -All Rise, more damage, legendary, hard not to call it the best melee weapon that has a designated spawn and isn't a random legendary. -Somerset special, a little subjective, but still good at level 50 with right mods. -The Dragon, you can't do 230+ plus damage with a death Tambo. -Bladed mole miner gauntlet, while it is heavier it is superior in damage and similar to the death Tambo. -Gatling plasma, with correct perks this is one of the most op guns at late game, especially with how much less its ammo weighs when compared to fusion cores. -black powder pistols, now using one at a time is awful but if you go into combat with 4-6 preloaded hot keyed black powder pistols, you can load 700 plus damage in seconds. -Guass rifle, with rifleman, a suppressor, a long scope, a piece of chameleon armor, covert operative, and sneak, you'll never be seen, you'll always be doing sneak criticals dealing upwards to 500 damage with a rate of fire that's faster then a hunting rifle. Also the ammo is extremely easy to craft using just lead and steal, and with ammosmith your going to have more ammo than possibly necessary. The only downside is the weight of the ammo and gun itself. The death Tambo doesn't even look cool, ohh wee are you going to hunt yau guai. Who wants to wear a bear trap on your arm that makes an annoying chain noise each time you use it.

The gauss rifle is great when it works, but for me it often feels really buggy. I don't know if it's lag or what, but often times my hits deal damage and the enemy regains the damage back instantly. From my friend's perspective it seems that I do absolutely no damage. Been happening since last patch.

@@Ileko1 the glitch your talking about is a glitch for every weapon. For the glitch your friend is talking about with your friend I can speak up to saying is true in pvp. The gun hasn't been working for me in pvp. But outside that mine has been working fine one shotting any mob that isn't a boss so like scorched, ghouls, most super mutants, etc. anything like a snallygaster, mirelurk king, wendigo, etc. Only takes like 4-10 shots depending on criticals.

10/10 the most useful feature if the game is if you are wearing a full set of escalator power armor when you first load into a world it gives you the bonus of 100 carry weight twice giving you an additional 200 carry weight.

past about level 27 I had pocket armor and switching to my power armor reduced my carry load. All the springs to repair the legs is a pain. I carry it for radiation zones and big drops off cliffs and such.

A second player can also spawn in enemies for you by fast traveling to you from another location. Or just walking up on it for the first time. Even on your team. Server hopping is the slow way to do it.

If you use recent when building camp and try to replace a door that’s in use you can switch it to a door you don’t have plans for. Not sure if it’s only a glitch for me but I can do it lol

Another hidden feature is mods for power armor at vendors. and you can reload servers to reset vendors for new mods and notes. (edit: but not caps) i have calibrated shocks on both legs, which give +50 to carry weight so i have +100 carry weight and all i had to do is spend 800 caps and reload about 10-15 servers.

You can store cores in a frame, but you must never enter a frame you are storing cores in. As soon as you enter a frame with more than one core, the extra get deleted. I have kept a second frame in my stash because the 10 pounds is way lighter than the 27 power cores that are in it. I entered it once before when I had 9 in it by accident and it wiped them out. I also always place the frame down instead of dropping it though. Note that when you put the multiple cores in you see them quadruple but if you pickup and set down the frame again it shows the right number. I already had a second frame for armor I am not high enough level to wear so I figure it’s Better to store the cores than to throw them away. Even if they do get deleted, I would have had to throw them away anyway.

I also tried to upgrade rifleman by 1, master rifleman by 1, and, expert rifleman by 3. Problem is when i fully upgraded my expert rifleman, my hunting rifle damage decreased by 6 or 8. I tried to shift it around to see what's the issue, but it seems that my current damage stays the same.

I think the game has a bug where perks/item effects linger even when not equipped. I was getting a chameleon buff, and i had a piece of armor with it, but did NOT have it equipped. I had this also happen after unequipping a gas mask, and my teammate, after i shared a perk card, also seemed to get effects from other cards in my build.

“The low cost of 4800 caps” that takes four days to get if you only use vendors. Maybe you might hunt caps stashed but it will take 4 days. EVERY FOUR DAYS YOU GET A MUTATION

Something I've found is if you exit the game wearing power armor the fusion core will be at max charge when you enter back into the game. Not sure if its a bug or a feature but I may or may not be abusing it.

I keep 2 power armor on myself. One is the PA to be used. The other is just a storage for my fusion cores.this way for only 10 kg ,i can store infinite fusion cores( right now at 50,they would weight 150 kg!)

This is a weird request but go to your map. Then go to menu>challenges>combat. Then scroll down to the kill different kinds of cryptids. The first thing is an alien.

@JuiceHead Don't interpret this the wrong way but, there is a better spot to farm mutations than blackwater :: Emmett Mountain Disposal site (south east of blackwater). It has a decontamination arch right next to a bunch of radioactive barrels right at the entrance of the instance (up to 30Rads in my experience). Also, it has a deathclaw spawn a bit further down the site as well as a fusion core generator, power armor station, and also contains the prototype hazmat suit (its in the office to the left of the fusion core generator). Also, the way the servers monitor mutations is weird. Sometimes you have to server hop because there is some form of timer restricting you from farming mutations quickly. (Although the first time i tried to farm mutations i got 3 in 10 mins on 1 server, the next few times nothing after the first mutation - even after ~20 minutes of farming)
