Honestly the Yamcha thing makes sense but tien never stopped training ever...I believe most believe him to be more powerful then krillen. He held back semi perfect cell in the past and it's 7 years and some change later so I only assume he has gotten stronger. I'm talking z not super, they did krillin relative justice but tien they butchered.

One thing I thought was cool is in Raging Blast 2, if you have Goku, Krillin and Gohan in a team and Goku dies, you can use a quick command to enter a cutscene where Goku gives Krillin the Spirit Bomb to throw at your character and Gohan can bounce it back for an instant KO. (Had this happen when a friend was playing the Z-Warriors while I was soloing them with Cooler. I was mad.)

I love how Raging Blast 2, despite not having any story mode, allows you to recreate almost any anime fight with just versus mode and the correct set of characters+moves, with special voicelines for each. Just incredible.

They recorded tonsss of lines that were never used because they were hoping to use them down the line with the Mentor Customization they added and never really fleshed out. But originally Goku Black would have had the option to use anyyy of Gokus moves and transformations. In the end they never gave him access to the transformations so SSBlack and Kaioken Black were never realized

And then multiple mods for XV2 allows all of this. There's also a custom Vegito that goes from base - SSJ - SSJ2 - Blue and sometimes adds Blue KK to it. Goku Black gets base to Rose to Rose Kaioken up to x20.

With Super Buu's attack stat getting lowered in Budokai 2 only applies with Tien and Yamcha Here's what all the attack stats from lowest to highest with his absorptions: Tien and Yamcha absorbed - 85%, Base Buu (before any absorptions) and Frieza absorbed - 100%, Cell absorbed - 105%, Vegeta absorbed - 110%, Gotenks absorbed - 115% and Gohan absorbed - 120%

In Japan the full color Mangas actually went up to the Buu arc Viz just hasn't done Cell and Buu arcs, and we see Cells Kamehameha is also Yellow

apparently, the kamehameha was white originally, the full color manga came out way later and is heavily influenced by the anime, back durring the manga days toryama would rarely do some chapters in color, and the only one we see the accurately colored kamehameha in is against freeza, but it was blue in the anime way before that, so maybe toyama forgot, and similarly that color chapter is where super sayian originally had red eyes

An awesome detail is that in burst limit there are tons of stuff in cutscenes that aren’t playable in game,like destroyed city in the opening and credits but not in the game and other characters like mecha frieza and chaotzu and ssj2 goku but aren’t playable.

Yeah, in Dragon Ball Legendary Super Warriors, Goten is completely unable to use the "Kamehameha" wave, instead having his unique "Kamekameha" wave of that only he can use it; curiously, like most of the characters in that game, he can freely use the Super Kamehameha attack. The Kamekameha wave is 5 points of accuracy lower but 5 points of power stronger than the regular Kamehameha, signifying his lack of training and control over the move.

in Budokai 2's Dragon World, if 2 characters with some kind of relationship interact, they'll both get a stat buff... with two exceptions. Put Piccolo and Gotenks on the same spot, and Piccolo actually gets nerfed by 5 in both stats for having to deal with him XD they get a decent buff tho, so its a good trade. The even funnier one, and only other debuff, is with Hercule and Videl. Videl gains an incredible +30 in both stats, a boost that very few things come close to... and Hercule _loses_ 30 in both stats. He would do anything for his daughter😢 Thats Our World Champ!!!!!

Another curiosity is that in dragon ball budokai tenkaichi 3 videl's ki blast travels less distance alluding to the fact that she does not know how to control her ki very well also maybe she does not have a white aura when flying showing that she is not very fast.

Idk if you covered this, in one of the Raging Blasts, when you beam clash, if you have extra Ki you can empty it out to get a boost in power, effectively winning the beam struggle. In Budokai 3, the intro shows Gogeta vs Broly, with Gogeta beating him with a Kamehameha, Budokai Tenkiechi does the clash too, but it then transmissions to another fight.

The last one being the Father-Son kamehameha. I think the first one is better they are showing how the beam isn't at full strength and that he needs to use his full power which makes sense to see a small beam then a bigger one. The one for the gamecube is okay but the beam Gohan shoots is already big enough to defeat his enemy and doesn't need to even use his full power. They made it look like the Super kamehameha which wasn't the case. If they are trying to be like the show then why not just have the character beam struggle like they do in the show. As you can see in the show the size of the beam itself. Yet that is just the show and they can make a small beam beat a bigger beam. So the size doesn't matter.

In the tenkaichi and raging series super attacks aside, SSJ Gotenks mostly fights exactly like Bruce lee, and he’s got the same stance as well but the charged attacks is Bruce lee’s (except for the up and down charged attacks and the gut punch those is still Gotenks) while everything else is his anime/manga accurate moves

But it's a mistake, the buu becomes weaker with an absorption. They are referring to the joke Goku made when he was thinking about merging with Satan. Buu adds each person he absorbs to his strength. This means that even if they are weaker than him in his current status, he will become stronger. It also makes little sense why he had Piccolo's cape back then even though he was much stronger than Piccolo and still adopted his appearance. Even the fusion between Goku and Satan would have made him stronger. He says even the powers are multiplied with each other. Satan has no negative power. Even if he had a combat power of 2, he would multiply Goku's combat power by 2. It was a joke and was more in keeping with his character.

Here's two,firstly when you are playing dragonball z infinite world goku from ps2 actually goku absorbs spirit bomb and get a dragon fist on super saiyan not super saiyan 3 lol, so heres a logic from dragon ball super, goku absorbs spirit bomb and get ultra instict so very weird right? I Think the reason the Father-Son KaMeHaMeHa look so so different on the Gamecube compared to the PS2 version is due to hardware limitations. The game cube in terms of hardware power was slightly weaker, i noticed that with games i had previously played on Ps2 that were also on the Gamecube, Ps2's graphics were better overall.

The GameCube was actually more powerful than the ps2 it was just limited by the small disc size so it usually couldn't hold as big textures. RE4 on GameCube looks way better than the ps2 port. Leon's hair moves when he moves and the cutscenes are rendered in real time instead of prerendered like on ps2

So I know you mentioned before how Bulma was intended to be a fully-playable character in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3. Well, it turns out that she isn’t the only cut character with voice data left over in the game files… The World Tournament Announcer also has voice files of him calling out the names of Shin, Dodoria, Zarbon and Android #19. According to TCRF, “Shin” is just another name for the Supreme Kai, so it’s likely that this was just an early name intended for his character. Dodoria and Zarbon were both characters that only made the cut in the first Budokai game. But once the sequels hit, they were left out of the rosters with no given reason. While it would’ve been interesting for sure to see how these characters would’ve played in the third installment, unfortunately we will probably never know… Android #19 pretty much suffered the same fate as Dodoria and Zarbon, being only playable in the first game and then having been removed in the sequels that followed. But unlike Dodoria and Zarbon, who were left out for unconfirmed reasons, it’s pretty easy to guess why #19 was cut from the roster. And the simple reason for that, is because of Android #20’s inclusion! #19 would later return as a playable character in Budokai Tenkaichi but as for the Budokai series, seeing as how both his and Dr. Gero’s movesets are pretty much the same, the devs probably saw his inclusion as wasted disc space at that point. BUT…those are not the only characters that I wanted to mention! As there are textual references in the files to other characters who also didn’t make the cut. Those characters are Guldo, Burter and Jeice whom, unlike the previous characters I mentioned, were NEVER playable in any Budokai-style game until the release of Tenkaichi 1. Now there are no voice files corresponding to these characters unlike Zarbon, Dodoria and #19, but the fact that they are referenced in the game’s *literal character roster* to begin with is incredibly interesting to me, as this would’ve have been the first Budokai-style game to feature all the members of the Ginyu Force as playable fighters. But sadly they were also removed and unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever know what that was going to be like…😔

I honestly don't see what's the point about nerfing Buu if he absorb Tien and Yamcha. I could understand if it was a smaller upgrade than others absorption (Cell, Frieza, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Gotenks) but why a NERF ? He doesn't scale his power on what he absorb, he GAIN as much power as who he absorb. Being punished for spending ki to trigger an absorption is honestly a shame

@@Bladeofdeath311 thats more complicated. The fact about "fat buu was weak" is not a buff/nerf problem but more a will problem. The kai he absorbed was very kind. He couldnt deploy his full power without thinking about consequences. It affected fat Buu (as a proof, when Satan explained him how bad was what he did, he accepted to change). This is also why "kid buu" is dangerous : he's not as powerfull as "super buu", but since he's feral and dont care to blow everything, he wont hold up and just go rampage

One detail (if you can call it that) I remember in battle of Z was with whis. If I recall correctly when you defeat whis in battle of Z he’ll say something like “L-Lord Beerus…I’m sorry” in a sad and weak tone. Though in future games like Xenoverse he says stuff like “Oh no I’ve been beaten” in a sarcastic way like he wasn’t even trying. My personal theory is that the developers didn’t wanna spoil (or just didn’t know) the fact that Whis is one of the strongest characters and it’s very uncharacteristic of him to be beaten.
