In my second season took Sunderland to a League Cup Final, Won the FA cup and finished 8th in the league, yet at the end of the season I was rate 68 because I lost 4 games in 5. Keep in mind the teams I lost against were Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle. Ok fine Newcastle are not a team the fans would like to lose to, but come on. I just won the FA cup, made it to a final and finished higher in the league than Sunderland have in 17 years and yet because I lost matches against really strong teams who were all challenging for the title, I am rated 68...... thanks EA

One thing that has really put me off recently. I got to the europa league with southend united in the championship. I got to the knockout stages and i was waiting for the prize money to help me with the january transfer window. When i recieved the money i checked the transfer budget and it wasnt there, then i looked at the cash inflows in the finance tab and it was there. it seems that the board just pockets it and doesnt give you any of it. It also doesnt change how much you get in the next season, i started the season with 3.5 mill and in the PREMIER league dont forget i had pretty much the same give or take a few hundred thousand pounds. Bloody pathetic, how am i supposed to bring in premier league quality players for about 4 mill?

Amigo Memela what I do is turn my transfer:wage budget 1:99 in June and offer a crap player all the wage. The next season buy a player but include the player who you gave all the wage too. Now you can edit the transfer:wage budget to what ever you want if you boosted cash.

something else that is less advanced than 5 years ago are custom tactics. Usually you could make 10 or so custom tactics and add them to the wheel. Now they made a ''new feature'' in fifa 16 and REMOVED this. Now every tactic belongs to a certain team, meaning you have to make them all over if you wanna chnage team or tactic

1) The game should have youth international teams from ages U17-U21 in kick off and career mode. For career mode, add a youth league for the all the top 5 leagues from U17-21, and add the Premier League 2, (aka U23 league in England) since England is the only country in Europe with a U23 league. Even further, add the UEFA Youth League which, for those who don't know, is the Champions League for U19 squads only. As well, add u17-21 Copa del Reys and FA Youth Cups. Also, add the Toulon Tournament, U17-21 European Championships, U17-21 Copa America, and last but not least the U17-U21 World Cup. 2) Allow for call ups from your B/Reserve Team without actually having to buy the player. For ex. Barcelona and Barça B and Real Madrid and RM Castilla. For your youth squads, if a player is doing well for the U19 squad you can call him up for a game in the Copa Del Rey or FA Cup, and then send him back to the U19 squad after the game. Also, if a U17 player is doing really well in the U17 League, you can ask the U17 coach to let him play for U18, U19, U21, or even the B/Reserve team. 3) Realistic career pro that starts out in a random small club's youth academy at the age of 15 in whatever country you choose that he's from. You start off by playing a game against some other really small club's youth academy, if you play okay in that game, a small or an average club from Europe will ask you to join their youth academy, let's say Hull City is the small club and Valencia the average club. If you play well in Valencia or Hull's youth academy, big clubs such as Barcelona and Bayern will ask you to join their youth academy. Then, for example, let's say you choose to sign for Barcelona, or played good enough in the first game for them to sign you right way, you'll then play in their youth academy, so at age 15 or 16, you'll be in their U17 squad aka Cadete A. If you play bad you get kicked out the youth academy and get signed by a smaller on, or If you play well, you get promoted as you age, if you play really well, or have a really good run of form, and there's an injury, you might be called up to the U18 squad aka Juvenile B, or the U19/Juvenile A squad. If you impress in your debut for the older squad you might stay with the older squad or if you play okay, or the injured player is recovered you'll be brought back to the U17 squad. If Barça B is in the game or let's say FIFA puts the Spanish 3rd division in the game, you can make it all the way to Barça B, if you play well enough for Barça B you'll get a debut for the Senior squad. Every La Masia products dream. 4) While you're playing for your club's youth academy, you can be called up to a youth international squad for tournaments such as the U19 Euro or U17 Copa America. If you're player's country isn't in FIFA, then he obviously can't participate. Also, as stated earlier, in real life, if your club made the Champions League their U19 team is automatically accepted into the UEFA Youth League, so if you're playing well for the U18s, the U19 coach can call you up for those games as well.

something I wish they could bring in is affiliate clubs, I find it so annoying when I want to send out a youth player on loan but nobody takes him, if they bring in an affiliate clubs feature, you can set up affiliations and then say, as a championship or premier league team, you send your 55-70 rated youngsters to your affiliate club in league 2 or league 1 to get game time, or even in the championship if they're 65-70

In my Celtic career mode during pre season my first team goalkeeper had to go and play with his international side and my substitute goalkeeper was injured I went the whole tournament without a goalkeeper and reached the semi final losing 2-0 to inglstat of Germany realism right there.Also in my Celtic career mode I moved them to the English championship and then got them promoted and on the shirts the Scottish professional football league badges where still there the whole time

You can do something about it (injuries). Turn the sliders down in the game option. And also the slider for injury severity (Put it down for CPU too) That will then alter your simmed games also so your team doesn't have as many

i think the press conf. helps if you praise a player on your squad who isnt exactly happy. i had a player change his mind after praising him . vice versa to entice another player from dif team to your squad if he is reportedly unsettled

My transfer budget was 1.5 million and even Florian Jozefzoon wouldn´t sign for my club cause it was "not competetive enough". The default standards of your club should change if you´re bringing the up the ranks. The youth league would be massive too

I can understand the simming stuff... I think it balances things out. Like he said in the first video once you've learned the tendencies of the AI every team plays the same so it's unlikely anyone actually playing a large portion of their games is going to lose them or face much drama... That's where the sim stuff comes in. Playing most of the games you will generally be playing with your best squad all the time. Simming most of the games you will generally be playing with the best squad available... Therefore it might not matter, as much, that every team plays the same if at any given moment the squad you field can't exploit the known weaknesses.

I'd love to have the option to train a player and groom them to to be able to play in multiple positions. For example if you have a CDM you could mold him into a CB and then it would say "CDM, CB" as his prefered positions. after a while you could have a "CDM, CB, RB, LB" it would be so so satisfying! one thing (among many) that I hate about fifa CM is how stupid the reason for players to want a transfer/leave. Like how Mkhitaryan suddenly wants to leave because he hate the weather... really?! REALLY!? The other reason is homesick, which I can understand... but for player(s) who has played in the club for almost a decade? Now that's totally doesn't make any sense! Third reason is usually "unsettled" for no particular reason...

Coutinho once leave in my liverpool career mode because he think he's too big for the club (he's 90 rating) even thou we are 1st in the league and advanced to final champion league.

I remember in my fifa 13 or 14 CM with real madrid ronaldo wanted out the first window and the board sold him for like 70 mil when i could easily get 120 for him. Needless to say i didnt play on, and since then i always restart if a player wants out, youd think you can deal with it, but the board fucks you. So stupid

What really pisses me off is the small range of stadiums you can choose for your club and that you cant change it during your career. So if you start in 3th league for example you can choose, to keep it realistic, a little stadium but you have to play euro or champions league in it a few seasons later...

For injuries go to settings and go to the player customisation then turn injury frequency down to 0

FIFA 09 had player training and based on your player's form, you'd receive XP points to allocate to the player's attributes. You could also hire assistant coaches like goalkeeping and fitness.

Injuries suck in FIFA 17, ik that Bale is injury prone but in three seasons he played less than 80 games in all competitions (as Manchester United where I won most things) so he probably only played 50% of games in three seasons.

the debut glitch is still in the game. whenever you play a team that just bought a player, that player always debuts against your team. even if the team bought the player in the summer transfer window and your playing against them in January

yea its an actual glitch. check next time you play the game. read the news of transfers during the market of teams that you'll play in the future. every time you play them, regardless of how far away the transfer was made, their new player will have a debut. it even says in the news that it is a debut for them. its weird.

It does... But I've been playing before and it's said that it's the players 'debut', then he's scored against me and it's been his 4th goal in the competition. So I think the glitch might be that it just says it's their debut, even though it's actually not.

board expectations need tweaking as well. they want you to acquire three youth players and raise them buy ten points each every season. eventually you'll be left with a whole bunch of youngsters to loan, and no teams to whatsoever to take them,

To be completely honest? No. Despite its many flaws, I do actually prefer the offline gameplay of FIFA 17 to that of FIFA 16. In FIFA 16 CPU controlled teams were overly defensive, didn't tend to attack until the final minutes when matches were usually already over and I generally just found it to be quite a bland game to play. So whilst FIFA 17 career mode may have more wrong with it, I nonetheless actually find it more enjoyable to play as the gameplay, in my opinion, usually involves more excitement.

Injuries make no sense for a start: if you get an injury in a simulation match with a bandage on it your thinking; 'oh he'll be fine' when he is out for 3 months with a broken tibia bone and was able to still play the rest of the match when the injury occurred in the 60th minute and when playing a game and your player gets injured and he is holding his arm and is taken off after he really has a broken ankle. I pretty sure you can not walk on a broken ankle

Are youth players still poached by other teams when you agree to scout them further? And it got to the point where you just singed them to the youth academy with poor stats to avoid the poaching and then your youth academy gets fill real fast and you have to release players from it. I stopped bothering with the youth academy.

in my ac milan career mode i got and English future star with 90-94 potential. I slowly trained him for 4 years until he was around the 85 rating where he decided to become homesick and move to man city and i literally couldn't buy him back. I mean what was the point of me training him all that time for him just to leave without me being able to do anything. This game is just stupid sometimes
