Approximately 2 weeks. My base was a small town called Mondsee.

I would have visit Fuschl am See, Sankt Wolfgang and Hallstatt. If you own a car then you can visit more places, because almost all of them are small villages and small towns.

In some places yes. Like archeological sites or Unesco Heritage sites. Also in Hallstatt it is not allowed and you need a permit.
