One of my all time favorite Tarantino films is True Romance. If you are a fan, and haven't seen it, you definitely need to watch it. It's one of Brad Pitt's first roles. Tarantino didn't direct it, because he was an unknown at the time, but he wrote the screenplay and you can tell.

The Rufus backstory from Kill Bill is incorrect. He was not a drifter or in a gang. He was explaining that he played in many famous R&B and soul bands from the 60s and 70s. My fave was in RD, most movies project a sadist in position as torturer, this gave me insight that you have a job to do, so try to relax to not get involved emotionally. Thus the Steelers wheel song was more than it seemed. Mask the screems, do what has to be done, but do with swag, this is funny. The sadistic sadist role is to long played out. This idea is a no hard feelings concept. This beyond, "this guy injoys his job". Played out syndrome for movies. Why can't we have a somebody has to do it theme 🤔 then splash it with I do everything with style. 🤓

Isn't Kill Bill either a reboot, rewrite, omage or a spinoff of sorts for the script to Fox Force 5 that Mia from Pulp Fiction was in the pilot for?

Technically serial rapist isn't the correct term for Tarantino's character in From Dusk til Dawn. Werewolf is the correct term, i.e. Brutal serial rapist and murderer. A Famous real life example is the Werewolf of Russia. The term Serial Rapist and murderer is used in official documents as a header but the fact that the murders were excessively violent and cruel are mentioned right after which is the meaning of the term when in relation to non-fiction/Myth.

If you take the Rufus-Jules actor connection as canon, Jules would be that universe’s Mr. Blue/Eddie Bunker 🤣

What a fun video. I was really impressed with the idea that Rufus could actually be Jules roaming the land like Caine in Kung Fu. He's not a Bum Vincent he is a piano player at the church. 😁 Tarantino has the best characters.

Ok, I pride myself on being someone who's seen damn near every obscure film. With that being said, there's a movie that features the female cab driver who picks up Bruce Willis character after fight. She plays a house keeper/maid who pretty much is turned on by blood, etc. For the life of me I can't think of the title. If anyone knows or stumbles across it, give it a go! Also one of Lucy Liu first acting jobs had her chained up and having to cut off the back of here heel to escape. Crazy right!!

@@shantaram0073 man, thanks. Im Even as a young kid I would watch these weird movies growing up. Never quite knowing the titles. Asian, French horror, I just loved things where you didn't see the plot coming a mile away. Helped to have grown up with cable in the 80s, they literally put anything on,lol. Movies like Frankenhoooker, Sssssss, etc.

Meh, just seven years of being locked in a cage/box, only being let out occasionally to be sodomized. Wouldn't necessarily translate well to the screen, artistically.

A good collection, but the script had a couple of odd detail errors. I say odd, because it is hard to see how someone watching the movie would come away with these conclusions. We don't meet Stigler when he is already well embedded with the Basterds, in fact we see him joining them during the movie, and his previous killings as shown were not in their company. Jules in Pulp Fiction did not shoot his best friend in the back of a car. Not even close. Marvin was shot by Vincent, and they weren't friends. I also seem to recall that Richie in the series of Dusk Until Dawn had a form a psychic ability, and that was as much the source of his madness as his childhood was. It seemed odd when referring to the series to not mention this.
