I have the Cube. Its the new Litening Aero C:68 SLX in blue and with new Sram Red. The bike performs AMAZING !!! Very stiff but also confort, if you put watts she goes, its really really fast ! And new its the best top tier bike on the market. You cant find another brand or model with full carbon wheelset and new Sram Red E1 under 7k €. Only Canyon or Van Rysel but both coasts 9k :) i really recommend the bike for anyone who wants a aero bike, climbing fast and very sharp top tier machine :D

the most interesting thing about the Pinarello X, to me, is the tall stack on an aero frame. they also have half sizes. I've never been able to slam the stem on any of my bikes, but I feel like I could on one of those.
@MichaelWilliams-iv6djАй бұрын
@@harrylook7810 the other advantage of a taller head tube is that it is more aerodynamic. Stem spacers aren’t as deep as the head tube, so a frame with a taller head tube should be faster unless it is too tall.

HOW have you not ridden the Ostro VAM? You're in the UK, Vires Velo will happily give you a loan bike to try!?!? Also somewhat condescending to say "fanboy" when you've not ridden them! Maybe because they have been shown to be most aero bike in professional racing in most recent cyclingnews aero testing. And the are one of the lightest??? A bike they gave 5 stars and said rivalled the best with the only con being "I have to give it back" .... and you're so behind the times you show a picture of the OLD Ostro - they're now on to the Ostro VAM 2.0. The 2.0 was launched in February '24, so you'll be over a year behind!

Hi Dave, try to get your hands on a Ridley Grifn RS for a review. This looks an interesting bike to me as well also also an all road combo or with two sets of tires (a ‘light’ gravel setup and a road setup)
@kihunpark8669Ай бұрын
Alternative Boutique choices; buy Standert kreisssäge RS for the refined classic geometry and superior ride quality for 3500€. Time AdH with Dura Ace costs the same as Cube in similar setup, but Time is the more refined virsion of any mass produced carbon bikes! Even no nonsense option would be ritchey or Fairlight, again with more superior comfort with no marketing gimmicks!

I actually use the C68 Gravel as an all road bike. It fits up to 45mm and I usually have 40mm Pirelli TLR Race tires on there to soak up the road bumps.
@kihunpark8669Ай бұрын
C68Gravel is one of few gravel bikes that fits road cyclists because its closer to classic road geometry than typical gravel. 42mm slicks are perfect for the road because medium sized tire 35-38 means giving up both comfort and speed.

I don’t get your Factor fan boy comment. I bought one because it is the only bike out there that offers all the component options that exactly match my somewhat odd fit dimensions. I just clicked the boxes and Shazam! A custom built bike shows up on my doorstep. I looked into bikes like the S5, but they don’t even have my stem length available in the US. Similar problem with the SL8. Crazy to think these companies want you to spend a fortune on a bike that doesn’t fit out of the box and it is iffy if the right parts will even be available in the next 6 months.

Ok dude. The Dogma F isn't good enough for your daily riding? Gimme a break. I have no brand allegiance but the bike is AMAZING, on "just" 28mm tires around 70psi, on absolutely terrible roads in and around NYC.
@RidewithjstАй бұрын
Just to be clear, 28mm Conti 5000 S TR's on Princeton Carbonworks 6550 Strada wheels. The bike is a beautiful combination of stiffness and comfort. I can ride on terrible tarmac in any position, I can climb effectively, or do full sprint efforts (up to 1,300 watts, so far) and it's great for any distance.

I just wish Giant would ditch hookless - had two TCR's and really fancy the new one, but not buying a new bike just to immediately replace the wheels...
@davidarthurАй бұрын
what's wrong with hookless for you?
@user-lx6pk9os2dАй бұрын
@@davidarthur There's nothing inherently "wrong" with them if set up correctly and maintained at the correct pressure - more that they just aren't suitable for daily riding up here in the North Pennines. Which is also why I've ditched tubeless, great idea (if you've got a team car and mechanic following you) but just don't stand up to UK roads. Been covered in sealant too many times, trying to put a tube into a tyre at the side of the road to get home. Switched back to latex tubes and so much easier...

Saying 35mm on the Pinarello X is not enough is dumb and doesn’t make sense. Narrow tires are faster on the road and that’s all I want on my road bike. I ride 28mm on my rim brake bikes and it’s more than enough. It’s like buying a Ferrari and trying to fit off-road tires. If you need more comfort and wide tires buy a gravel bike. It was even ridden in the gravel world championships so why wouldn’t that be enough on a ROAD bike. Also the Pinarello X range is a really great bike it fits well, goes down to a smaller size than the other endurance bikes and doesn’t have any weird useless suspension like a Rubaix and Domane.
@evoermineАй бұрын
‘Weird useless suspension’ shows you’ve never ridden one or don’t understand the concept. Also adding 40mm tyres to a top end road bike doesn’t suddenly make it a dog. It’s just a tiny bit of extra comfort for a tiny sacrifice in average speed. We all prefer different set-ups. Nothing wrong with that.
@BurndTireАй бұрын
I beg to differ. First of all, in some cases 34mm tires were tested to be actually faster than 28mm. (NorCal Cycling) Second, even if the 35mm was slower, the difference is marginal while the added comfort is huge. On an endurance bike where comfort is key, I think that’s pretty important. Also, I don’t think speed is as important of a factor on an endurance bike than a road bike. You might be comfortable with having 28mm tires even on longer rides, but there are folks who would be much happier with wider tires maybe due to their age, health condition, environment, etc. And lastly there are race bikes that has tons of clearance now (example: New Scott Addict RC w/ 34mm clearance), I think it makes sense for endurance bikes to have slightly bigger clearance.
