I love how RM Suga JHope Jin Jungkook V Jimin are doing everything in their own way. Love their own identity. If I'm honest each member should be recognized outside the K-Pop category. They are already as BTS but, even with their solo projects more then only K-Pop. It is so weird to see some American musicians with 1 song in different categories.

Hi. Re Jin’s popularity in Japan, from my understanding, Jin is probably the most popular BTS member in Japan. Also, we love how perfect Jin’s voice is for Japanese songs and how perfect his Japanese is. And Jin may know this which is why he is the only member who did a collab and sang in Japanese as one of his songs in his solo career 💜

Just started watching the video. Beyond just a Korean act, j-hope was the highest ticket seller in the 30 year history of Lollapalooza. That’s according to Lollapalooza! I had tickets and travel arrangements all lined up but wasn’t able to go due to a family emergency. I’ve rewatched the show multiple times and I am hoping he goes on tour.

Didn’t Yoongi say he started Suchwita specifically so the members could promote their solo ventures? I thought he was such a natural. I loved the episodes with the members (especially both JK episodes) but he also had some other really good ones like El CAPITXN. I hope he will continue it if he has time.

“We recall moments when we faced discrimination as Asians,” the statement said. “We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English.” -- BTS' White House Speech. BTS has faced racism in the USA. Do deny that would be harming and stonewalling BTS and not believing them.

JHOPE the FIRST Solo performer of BTS, ALONE drew a crowd at Lollapalooza as headline artist of ONE HUNDRED FIVE TO FIIFTEEN THOUSAND PEOPLE! He's the only Korean artist to ever do this! Not even BTS as a group has ever accomplished this feat in one concert! That is PHENOMINAL! JHOPE is my all time favorite perforner in the world. Then SUGA had the biggest Korean sold out tour ever. 26 shows, 60 million gross for One Artist! MONUMENTAL!!!

Yoongi was the one who insisted that Jimin be the "artist coordinator" for the BE album...I think that is what you were referring to. Maybe I misunderstood. FYI - Yoongi is Jimin's biggest fan. **If anyone wants a history lesson on black music, there is a fabulous documentary produced by VH-1 on KZbin. "Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America" (I would link but don't want to get in trouble). It takes you through rock & roll, R&B, disco and lastly, hip-hop and rap. It's just the best and only an hour long.

i kinda cringe at labelling JK as the "next JT or next Bieber" ... those two may be talented but have a lot of personal issues. JK will have his time to shine even brighter. Like we said, it's only beginning for him. He is unique. His throne is unique, nobody else has sat on it.
@Imme_begin
@Imme_begin 21 күн бұрын
I don’t think people should consider the personal lives of artist when comparing their careers. Saying those things about JK have nothing to do with personal issues. It is their impact on the music industry… JMO

@@Imme_begin oh, it's for my own thoughts. i recognize the contributions the two justins have made to the music industry. i just don't resonate that much with them, but i like JT's music more than JB's. that's just me, and you can't really disconnect from the personal. it is what it is. My stanning BTS is highly personal too, it's a journey i undertook for myself. because they are inherently good people, that made it easier for me to get to know them on a deeper level while enjoying the music. i enjoy a lot of different genres of music, but rarely delved into the artists as people. getting to know bts as people made me more appreciative of their message and the type of music they create. and also enabled me to support and defend suga during those days when he was hounded and harrassed and ridiculed. so yes, you really can't disconnect the personal from the professional.

In the end, everyone stayed there for J-Hope, and many non-Army praised his performance, so yes, he drew over 100k people. Just the fact that no other artist at Lollapalooza had this many people is mind-blowing. And also how many people sang his songs.

Jin is the eldest, and he started the last, and his portfolio is the smallest. In the interviews and shows, his body language seems like he is feeling nervous. No matter how much verbal posturing he does, he seems like he is yet to gain confidence in his craft. I understand that you don't have much to speak of his achievements either. He's branching in a different way than his more successful brothers, though. I do wonder why he's silent about his traditional liquor making venture? He was so enthusiastic about that before and during military enlistment. But been totally silent since he got out. Is he silent because of everything that happened with Yoongi?

More successful brothers?! I don't get why people keep comparing the members. Is it a competition? And what is success? Jin and all members of BTS have risen above the numbers, charts and trends and they will not be defined by your or anyone else's notion of "success". Are you trying to undermine his achievements by talking about his confidence? Jin is the master of his own artistry. He has his share of records with his latest album and I am intentionally not quoting the numbers here because like I said those dont define his success.
