One of the lessons I picked early in life was to save maximum before marriage. And by God it was one of the best one. I used to save two thirds of salary at that time. I invested the same in a diversified MF. My patience was tested in year 2017, when my portfolio was down 30%, but still I continued investing. After foreshortening, I used to save on an average 90% of my salary (crazy right!), but my first big break came in 2019, with the help of a trade analyst, I had accumulated enough money to retire!
