Another great video, and I'm learning so much from you! One thing I am wondering about is competitive overlap in small niches. For example, if I wanted to make "smartphones" my niche, I assume it would be taboo for me to write copy for both Samsung and Apple at the same time, as it could be a conflict of interest. Is this something that's frowned upon in the freelance space, and would the solution be to just broaden the niche? For example, expanding smartphones to just "tech"? I imagine this might be a complex answer, so I'd definitely suggest it as a video idea if you think one might be warranted. Otherwise, if you already have a video on the topic, I'd be so thankful for a nudge in the right direction.

Haha totally! I hear you. I've never been very into cold outreach, so I probably don't have the best tips. But many of my students have great luck using more out the box approaches -- rewriting some copy they currently use and making it better. Things like that to really grab their attention (without insulting them haha). Cold outreach is a tough game to play but can be rewarding if you learn how to get attention.
