In an interview on the KZbin channel "Ring The Belle" with Victoria and Molly, Molly said that they were looking for a finisher for Victoria, she saw that move from Roderick Strong and they tried it during training, Vince liked it and Victoria got her finishing move. Also Victoria added that she met Strong after years and she thanked him for that finisher. You can find the interview pretty easily it's pretty interesting.

I remember when Adam Wilburn made a video like this a few years ago. At number 1 he Razor Edge and said there was never someone who kicked out. Someone post a link in the video of Razor vs Crush with crush kicking out at 2. I’ve rarely seen a Wilburn video since.

Surprised there was no mention of Hogan's leg drop. That move was major protected. Nobody kicked out of it until that match with Sid where he kicked out when Papa Shango missed his cue for the run in to break up the pin.

Jake Roberts' DDT should be on here. It had a life of its own even back in the territories with crowds chanting DDT! DDT! It was so over that even when Jake traveled to different territories, it preceded him. Back in those days it was unheard of for a non NWA world heavyweight champion to have a finisher of that magnitude.

Funnily enough, I saw the first time the Black Arrow wasn’t a three-count finish nor a rope breakup like Rollins. Unfortunately, that was because the AEW ref called it a kick out despite that being the booked finish and despite the wrestler (I want to say it was one of the Best Friends) _not actually kicking out._

Personally I think there's such thing as going too far when you retire and move never kicked out that's not a good thing. It should really only be protected for that one special wrestler that does kick out. That's my opinion and anything else is obsessive is just self-serving instead of trying to put someone over eventually.

there are four scenarios where a finisher can be allowed to not finish a match: number one: guy gets to the ropes, doesn't make either of them look weak. number two: there is an obvious difference in power between the two, rey mysterio needing to hit the 619 three times on big show just to get the big man to fall works, rey being the underdog is the whole point of the angle. number three: you have an unkillable character like the undertaker involved, this is still questionable, but works when you frame it right. number four: pin doesn't happen right away, dude who just hit it spends too much time gloating or the finish happened outside the ring in a match that's not falls count anywhere.

Which made my favourite unintentionally funny improv moment even funnier; when Papa missed his cue at WM VIII, Sid not only kicked out of the Big Leg when he wasn't supposed to, he threw Hulk off and sat up looking mildly inconvenienced. Hulk deserved it though. There was even a rumour that Sid was fired because of that, even though he worked the UK tour weeks later. The tombstone piledriver was protected for a long time. From Undertaker’s debut until 2007, the only one to kick out of it was Kane, who did it twice in the same match, but since it was Wrestlemania, he still lost.
