best Infinity Q mod video I have seen all laid out perfectly. I like your way of thinking in the best bang for the buck arena & stock intakes. Very well done & spoken with true passion AAA+++ Thanks again & by the way if my 2019 Q60 has trim Q in the manufacture tag then wtf trim is it already? Why dont i know? i inherited this mint Q60 with 1200 miles on it. Of course i plugged my vin in at infinity. says vin not recognized 😂 I see infinity as a company not focused on….. never mind. its just the dip shit electronics in the car like those silly screens. & yeah man i pulled a whole 1G the other day! imagine a 911 w a G meter in it😂

Nice sounds like it’s gonna be a good build, you going to get the car tuned after or going with a jb4 setup?
@miguelagra104111 ай бұрын
@@Ghost.q50 My question that I asked separately comes along that path, for me to tune I need to buy a jb4 or a raceBox or something like that or I can go directly to Dyno tuned the maps that I like the most as a bubble and tune for more hp And the map to put it in daily driving ?
@Ghost.q5011 ай бұрын
@@miguelagra1041so a JB4 is just a boost controller that allows you to turn up your turbo psi (personally I wouldn’t recommend this setup) I would go with Racebox and schedule a tune with them and they’ll let you choose your maps that you would like (burble, race, daily, etc) and they’ll tune your car to those maps and you’ll see how my hp and torque your car makes on a dyno

Almost everything that I’ve heard and read is that if you’re looking to purchase a used V6 Twin Turbo Infiniti don’t expect but you are not going to have turbo issues/replacing the turbos what’s the car reaches a certain mileage. Some people say you will be lucky to get 75,000 miles of the turbo without having to replace them. What’s your opinion?
@Ghost.q507 ай бұрын
Well funny enough I actually just replaced mine because they were whining/whistling at about 52k miles (to be fair I do push mine) but sadly I would say it seems to be average for people to replace theirs at 75k miles however there are some who are at 100k with no issues

@Ghost.q50 @Ghost.q50 I was told by I think it's AGS who tune Infiniti that the late to Mid 2018 models and up at the blocks and turbos upgraded so there's less of a chance of problems. How much did it cost you?

I heard flex fuel like E85 can be bad though. I just want some extra power added to my Q50 RS without compromising the engine too much. I don't want a tune neither. Maybe a JB4, cold air intakes and an upgraded exhaust should get me close since the RS is almost there right? I just want 500 TQ/500 HP which I would be happy with. The extra power is not for continuous racing. I just want the power to have or use if needed. I am trying to do the same with my G70 3.3 T Sport as well.
@Ghost.q505 ай бұрын
Running a E mix wouldn’t be harmful as long you have proper fueling like a LPFP, fuel filter and FF kit and you don’t run a E mix constantly. Also I will say I have nothing against JB4 but that’ll put you right around 420whp (with supporting mods and sometimes even E30 is needed)

The Infiniti dealership said they will not touch my car if I have mods done to it even if I have a warranty. They also said they will sell me their performance parts, but will not install them for me. I was trying to get the Q60's side fender vents for my Q50 RS, but Infiniti will not install them either because it is not an OEM part for that model. WTH! It is hard to find a high quality performance auto shop to do installation.

very good, your video my brother I actually want to make the same set that you have heat exchanger z1 air filters + silicone inlets, lower dp, exhaust and that's it, my question is can I go to a dyno to tune or I need to buy something else for the maps and that or the tuner can put them on the helm controls
@Ghost.q5011 ай бұрын
You can definitely just contact your tuner for a dyno tune and typically that price you pay includes the license and maps (that’s what I’m going to do) but you can also contact them for a remote tune if you’d rather have them send you files remotely but that can be more difficult and time consuming
@miguelagra104111 ай бұрын
@@Ghost.q50 Thanks buddy, I had that doubt because they bought a jb4 and a racebox and those devices cost more money. I want to go directly to the Dyno and see the numbers that the car does and have it add the maps to my controls. And that's all simpler at 93 I don't want much
@Ghost.q5011 ай бұрын
@@miguelagra1041yep I’d definitely avoid JB4 and just go directly with a dyno tune. Racebox is a very reputable tuner for these cars and they’ll get your car running good

I just bought a 2019 q50 sport signature edition with 52,095 on the dash. Got it for $15,000 so no complaints but she jumps around a lot. Im getting new tires put on this weekend and I'm hoping after that and an alignment it will be a lot better. But I'm assuming I need to upgrade the coils and dampeners to smooth it out a little more to my liking

New engine is 30k would definitely buy a 3rd party warranty. If you do tge heat exchanger you need to bleed the system to pressurize it. Most place doesn’t how to do that, its $400 at infinite. Would bot mod a. Vehicle if you can’t afford to replace engine or ow money on it

What are your thoughts on swapping the open diff for an lsd if you have all the bolt on mods?
@Ghost.q5010 ай бұрын
100% think that’s a good idea. I forgot to mention the open diffs on these cars can be restricting so highly recommend getting that lsd 😁

Obviously the turbos will last longer if I'm not racing. But would an exhaust upgrade lengthen their life span?
@CPT.GamesAlot5 ай бұрын
No, they have a milagr of about 80k miles, pretty much when warranty expires. Going catless just makes their life easier but thats not allowed in blue states.
@Ghost.q505 ай бұрын
I’d say a catback may help with turbo health just because it’ll help airflow out way easier however running a downpipe could have its pros/cons

Hit boost in motions channel for advice. Those numbers are off. You want hx, afe dry drop ins, stock turbos 2.5 or 3 inch will work. Full downpipes vs lower downpipes doesn't make a big difference in hp. If you go 3" exhaust, and lower down pipes, you need a tune, if you get bigger exhaust, just spend the $250 more on and upgrade your low pressure fuel pump. Thus platforms notorious for fuel drops. With his recommendations, you'll be running lean. Really lean. Ethanol mix doesn't need an injector upgrade. Stock handle e85 fine with upgraded lpfp, hpfp, and an inline filter. It's the lines that get ruined from ethanol. 6an let's it expand and contract. Also you want spark plug upgrades ngk premium laser iridiums is the way to go pregapped at .032. OP you got a ways to go to learn more about the platform. Boosted 6s are nice. They have the 3" charge option for when you get tuned, otherwise they have a sleeve that'll follow the correct airflow. Concept z has red alphas for sale right now that's just ams with their logo for $300. Yes. They sound amazing. You want fast just start with hx, intakes, ldps exhaust lpfp and your tuner will give you an amazing base tune for 400whp. Hit up florezllc on ecutek. But ffs please tune after your airways open. Don't run lean and blow your block
