So happy to have found this because not every creator is specific on whether their food mods and cookbooks are compatible. I just found out about Oni and and QMbibi and like you, have been dying for more soulfood, backyard bbq options...I've even wanted to do just some crab legs and a seafood boil for like a cute little summer dinner in the backyard for my sims and could never. So geeked to see we have all these options and THEY'RE COMPATIBLE and the texture honeyyyy! yesssss *eeek*

I'm in love with the sweets included in this video!!~ Before I didn't really care for food in the Sims 4 which was honestly a BIG mistake. If I hadn't pondered upon this video, I'd still be having the blocky EA food my sims are forced to eat. But now that I'm aware of how food mods work, I'm definitely going to be getting LOTS of it. I loved this video. I have been watching you for a while now since i found your calender tweaks video and it always makes me smile to see your videos and your sims. I always love this kind of asthetics. Just simple wholesome gameplay with none of the over the top madness i see nowadays even though we all love a little drama lol. I love custom food mods. I always end up with different creators in my mods folder but the one true blue mod I need I'd Granny's cookbook. I also love Brazen Lotus with the custom food and harvestable and recently found Tianasims.

I'm so distracted by the cat 😍! I had Granny's cookbook, really sad that you have to use mods to get group servings of most ramen dishes and a few more. I'm also annoyed that the snowy escape hot pot only makes 3 dishes, wish they had enabled some other dishes for it. Rex's rice cooker (it also includes other meals), is still a must in my mods folder. Might give Oni's mod another go, it's so overwhelming with options

I also have a mod that stops the Sims from automatically grabbing a serving of food after they cook something. I definitely recommend it!!!!

Omg i didn’t know you were Filipino and black. Me too. QMBibi also has the Filipino stall overhaul where they have pancit, sisig, halo halo. QMBiBi also has other ethnic food stall hauls that are good.

Can you do a tutorial for the s and s cooking mod because every time I install it in my game my Sims can never eat the food, so I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong or it’s conflicting with other mods

Just fyi ... try to use it without the other mods .. Get Better Exceptions by Twisted Mexi if you must have all the mods at the same time.. Some even conflict with appliances from other CC .. It'll tell you which are conflicting 😅You should not have all these in one save :) Good Luck is not as scary as you think it is..I was scared too ❤

Haha I get this a lot! I prefer easy cooking. I used the SCCO a while ago but grew to not need that level of realism. I love icemunmun and brazenlotus but prefer the art style of food from other creators. I could probably reinstall and give it another shot :)

I always worry that they might I also have Icemunmun mods and of course Somik and Severinka plus Ravasheen's I don't have SCCO, Oni or littleBowbub Grannys cookbook or Balkanika and Pied paper. In the unmodded game of The Sims 4, you can actually click on the dining table and bring out the cake (cost Simoleons), instead of baking the cake yourself. So, that's the unmodded way, actually.
