Hmmm... I thought the csc sys 50 ebi only ripped up to 11 inches. If it does 24 inches that would be great.

I wouldn’t buy a Festool reciprocating saw, I would buy Milwaukee or makita, Festool should stick to what their good at.

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to tools, and it's great to hear your perspective. While some people may prefer Milwaukee or Makita for a reciprocating saw, others may find value in Festool's offerings. Festool is known for their expertise in certain areas and their dedication to quality and innovation. They have a strong reputation in the industry for producing high-end tools with advanced features and exceptional build quality. It's important to consider factors such as personal experience, specific project requirements, and budget when choosing a tool. Milwaukee and Makita are renowned brands with their own strengths, and they may align better with your particular needs. Ultimately, the decision of which brand to choose depends on individual preferences and the specific features and capabilities that are most important to you. Remember, it's always a good idea to research and read reviews to get a better understanding of a tool's performance, reliability, and suitability for your specific tasks. By doing so, you can make an informed decision and choose the brand and model that best suits your needs.

I’ve been woodworking for over 45 years and seen a revolution in woodworking in that time. All the tools, abrasives, adhesives that are are now so easily available which were just a dream not so many years ago. One of the downsides is that woodworkers are now targeted by big companies to spend money on tools they don’t need; and to buy from companies who may not be best in class. The tools featured in this video and Festool are prime examples of this malaise. You don’t need any of these tools. They will not make you a better woodworker. They may make you a slightly faster woodworker who doesn’t have to think about problem resolution but will also make you a much poorer woodworker. Festool are not, in my opinion, best in class over all tool categories. They are, again in my opinion, better tools available from other manufacturers. What Festool do excel at is marketing. The tool porn of seeing banks of systainers behind the woodworker is just great marketing. But marketing never made anything - except rich marketeers. Please learn your trade without resorting to false “spend more money to become a better woodworker” subliminal messages. In case you surmise that I have a downer on everything grey and green. Not at all. I own many Festool products. I very much like their domino machines (I have both) but believe that, these days, they are horrendously over priced. I use a Festool track saw most days in the workshop, having bought it when there were no alternatives. I do like their routers and use the 1410 regularly. I like their Rotex sander for horizontal work although it’s much too heavy for vertical surfaces. I have their power planer which is…..fine. I have a Festool drill driver which sits in the tool cupboard and has gathered dust for several years - I just think it is the worst drill driver I have ever owned - as well as probably the most expensive. So, don’t put manufacturer before tool function. I understand this argument about commonality of batteries but I learned it’s better to have several different batteries and chargers than one inferior tool. Use my thoughts.

its definetly not true i have a lot of tool brands, most problem i hade was makita and dewalt. broken chopsaw and tracksaw dewalt, makita 5 broken drills and a router a sander and a silicon pistol so much problems and waranty issue. festool and mafell never had any broken tools, and dust ports for vac works on every tool. makita and dewalt i need different adapters for different tools thats a bad design choise. but dewalt and makita are made cheap in china, festool and mafell high quality made in germany thats a big difference. and the haptic and feel is much better on mafell and festool than on cheap brands then dewalt, makita or millwaukee. we are 150 workers and most of them prefer festool and mafell. and kuka robotics near by use the same tools and say the same, they are 5000 workers no joke.

I have 3 of their sanders, they’re great. Now the rest of the line up compared to others it’s like cars, you can drive a civic or a Lexus. Who cares?
