Man I miss how older games offered cool unlockables to incentivize players replay the game over and over again. I wish devs would bring this back to modern games instead of creating halfassed multiplayer modes that nobody plays after the game’s been out for more than a month

It's because the generation z and millennials rely on games that hold your hand by giving hints, minimaps, locator points, easy kills, tranny non-binary characters and hardly any gore and offers trophies and achievements. True gamers replay the good games we had from the past, since generation z and millennial gamers are the bane of the gaming industry, nothing good comes out anymore.

I made sure to unlock that first to have it for my Hard playthrough. It makes it so funny watching Alex trying to be serious or convey emotion with just a giant metal head, even better when his arms or the environment start clipping through it. Makes him look like he’s somehow picking his nose lol

When i first unlocked the chainsaw, i was in the hospital and put the pad down without pausing the game, to do something and when James screams it made me jump so bad, i was only 12 at the time 🤣

I remember trying to get all the unlockables in silent hill 4. I never managed to get Cynthia’s outfit but was able to get Eileen’s…definitely adds a strange twist to the game.

What about the over-the-shoulder camera angle in the first Silent Hill? That one to me is the best 'GOODIES' of the franchise. In fact, it makes the game more terrifying as you may think that you are feeling what Harry is feeling/exploring throughout the town, and also being nervous in watching the enemies lunge at you. You see, Resident Evil 4 wasn't the first game to come up with that idea. Secondly, playing Silent Hill 4 with more bullets is great on account that ammo is rare throughout the game. I just wish there were more 'Swords of Dominance' featured.

Darn, I've never unlocked the One Weapon Mode for Silent Hill 4, despite beating it do many times. And I already did a personal challenge where I beat the game using only the Wine Bottle. TwT I guess I have no reason to unlock it now.

I downloaded silent hill 2 and not sure how the game had been altered for me, but on my very first playthrough the first thing I found is the chainsaw and even tho I was confused I had more fun that way

The chainsaw was available as the first weapon pick up in the second version of Silent Hill 2 for the PS2 that had the Maria scenario "Born From A Wish" added to the game disc. I do not recall if that was the standard version on other consoles or not I'm sure there were multiple personal computer versions though.

I somehow unlocked the hyper spray in SH2 and I have no idea how. It was just there. Maybe an older game I played I hit all those requirements...but ..I'm not THAT good. It's a mystery.

#5 - if they still gave a crap about anything, Konami would probably have you scan a card from Yugioh Duel Terminal or something back in the late 00s, or have a crafting option in Master Duel now. #4 - I'm good with the fanservice, so long as it's available for all, and not just hot chicks made to appeal to het men.
