That's is why medicine man/woman says let us sing again even when he/she is setting there by himself with his patient, or when he or she just now learning. So, wherever he made a mistake with the song the gods are helping correct it.

The songs vary in tune and pronunciations, but they all know what songs they are and due to respect of their elders they don't interfere. I guess the main thing is they are in unison for the purpose of the ceremony.
