The Jimny swap is the only thing that redeems it as a duplicate given it turns it into a 600pp and 600hp monster I’ve actually made a super soft trophy truck build with it so it has tonnes of body roll and pitching/yawing while i drive it and it’s incredibly good fun

This Evo engine swap takes the car to an unbelievable level. It's pretty much my fastest road car now! The Volvo with suspension set up extra stiff handles the power well! So fun.

4:48 the Subi engine swap is the first one I tried out. It works like a charm as a 600pp Toyko grinder. Does 2.08/2.09 and a mix of lvl 5/6 fuel map gets exactly 6 laps for a tank of fuel. No need for wierd tweeks or relying on glitches. It's kind of a relief tbh.

Some very nice looking swaps here. I completely agree that the eclectic mix of engines is way better than having a theme. I remember that one update where it was all Evo's getting the same Evo engine, and that was painfully dull and boring. I am very much looking forward to trying out the Volvo swap, I have been waiting for one and hoping it would be the BRZ engine, and I would love to see you revisit the 911 GT2 RS Special Project build, as it was already one of my favourites, ao I'd be curious to see it improved.

Related to the prior update (if not this one)… The ‘22 Roadster NR-A w/ the 787 swap (and also a wide-body, aero that allows for 100 front/400 rear(!) downforce, and some (de)tuning here and there) is an absolute blast to run on the dirt. At low speeds, the RWD-only capabilities have their own pros and cons, namely easier hairpin turning at the cost of it being harder to accelerate, but the above-average downforce allowed by the rear bumper option allows for nigh unparalleled stability at higher speeds, to the point where it tackles the bottom section of Fisherman’s Ranch (read: the hilly section with a sharp chicane punctuated by a hill) better than some AWD cars, likely also owing to the minimum weight of 2,112 lbs (~958 kg). That said, I also highly recommend detuning the swapped-in engine, as 690 horses is a *little* overkill for any road car-turned-rally car, let alone one without an option for AWD. I personally have it set to 405 HP with the Engine Computer set to minimum, as it combined with the downforce (and appropriate transmission, suspension, and weight upgrades) bring the Roadster just shy of 600 PP. Still more than enough torque to spin the rear wheels at low gears, but it mostly settles by 5th gear when the transmission is set for 250 km/h (155 mph). Speaking of offroading, while the additional Jimny might be seen as ‘unnecessary’ by some, I still appreciate its addition, if not for the fact it gets an even better engine swap straight away in the K24A. I personally have my Jimny Sierra set up with that engine in basic configuration, with a 140 kg Ballast to the rear giving it 50:50 weight distribution and an overall 2,881 lbs curb weight. Given that there are no options for downforce on the Jimny Sierra like its basic sibling, piling on weight is the next best option when it comes to controlling a vehicle for the dirt. Last but not least, yet another Chiron swap, this time for the 2024 T-Spec GT-R. When I first used the swap with no other modifications beyond transmission tinkering (and the usual wingless + rear diffuser mod), I managed to get it to 300 MPH (484 km/h) even; for reference, the C6 ZR1 with the same swap, transmission, and aero mods managed 301 MPH (485 km/h) with the advantage of it being RWD. However, once the power + suspension upgrades came into play, I couldn’t even manage above 330 MPH in the T-Spec GT-R, while I could do so with the C6 ZR1 even with additional rear downforce for cornering on SSRX, likely because the T-Spec GT-R is still AWD in spite of the seemingly reduced drag compared to the C6 ZR1, which remains the top speed swap king for another day.

High power in a FF layout vehicle, especially if its light... you can very much overdo it. I tried it with the Pikes Peak Audi rally engine in the Golf I, it handled absolutely abysmally.

I'm gonna be honest I really don't like the Bugatti Engine Swaps, they ruin the balance of the street car lobby races for maxed out, and often PP racing as well. They are especially annoying on super/hypercars that already have powerful engines. Ie. GTRs, R8, etc. Not to mention the swap makes every car it's in heavier and drive much worse.

Honestly kinda let down by this update. Both cars and engine swaps don't do it for me. I'd love to see more race cars, or at least engine swaps from race cars to have more options in the 700PP race grind.

Yes, the swaps are interessting BUT why is Polyphony not able to place all cars in used or legendary shop when the get the possibility to swap engine? 🫣🤷‍♂️ I now have to wait if the Volvo or Giulia will get in their Shops 😑🙄
