The storage shed and Cyrus has been an absolute game changer. Even while inside your home, slapping the shed down to put away and take things is like storage speedrunning. At first I thought Cyrus only customized the nook mile items because most people were yelling about finally changing their lighthouses, but OMG I have just been dragging everything ive owned for the last year over to him. Some of this stuff I've been sighing, wishing they were alt colors for the last year. (Stuff I never bothered cataloguing from friends because they are absurdly expensive items and I didn't want to rebuy them. Problem solved now! 200k bell items repainted for 5k, completely worth the wait)

I wanna mention this, cause it wasn't in the Leif part of the video. His weed removal service is actually cheeper if he's visiting your island. It's 100,000 on Harv's island, and while I don't know for sure how much it is on your own, it's significantly less. Though that only applies when he's visiting.

@Robert Ritchie idk about the double thing but even being on max friendship level with villagers doesn’t guarantee getting their photo because the chance of them giving you their photo is pretty low, so you may have to gift them many times before getting your hands on their photo. for example i had been bffs with kid cat with MONTHS and giving him gifts nearly every day before finally getting his photo

I found out that if you find the Brewster island again, if its raining, you will not only find a gyroid fragment but also an entire gyroid! So you get TWO that day! Hope this helps!

The DIYs you pick up on Kappn's island tours correspond to the particular theme of the island you visit. As with star fragments, if you get a crop island (carrots, potatoes, etc.), you'll get a recipe. Same goes for cherry blossoms, snowflakes (snow-covered island), summer seashells, and so forth. If you're lucky, you'll get the glowing moss island to obtain the new materials and DIYs. Also, you only need one storage shed set up on your island, as your friends can access their own storage with the same storage shed.

Okay so something that i'm very happy about is how you can actually exchange poki for bells! I haven't seen anybody talking about it, but after 20 homes there will be an abd at the paradise planning center where you can exchange poki for bells and viceversa, there is a daily limit tho, which is kind of annoying :/

I have a question for y'all, because I haven't found the answer anywhere: If I make a vacation home for one of my villagers, after giving them souvenir chocolate, and later on, they move off of my island - will they still be at their vacation home, and will they still remember me? 1:09- actually two of my villagers were from my friends island. When they introduced themselves they not only mentioned my friends name and his island name but also noted that they first met me there. When my friend came to visit my island, he would go talk to him but especially in that first conversation when they first moved in, they were like "long time no see" and talking about how they missed my friend. So they would remember you but only if you went to the island where they moved to. My friend and i call these two villagers our kids lol

today, katrina told me that i'd have a friendship filled day (or something along those lines) and then dizzy gave me a gift just out of seemingly nowhere as like a thank you for being a snack buddy. so uh, yeah Katrina basically changed the course of my day. i wonder if that would've happened even if i didn't ask for a fortune today.

I went to a mushroom island ystrdy!!! Sooo excited as I love mushrooms & course all mush stuff 😋 so that was pretty cool. I hadn't seen anyone get that island yet.

Also I hope you and Mori make an important video about the glitch of remodeling your villager’s houses, because it’s definitely important to let everyone know and how it will corrupted their save data and their game entirely.

Quick question: when you open up a kiosk on Harv's island for the vendors (Leif, Redd, Kicks, etc.) do they keep the same items in stock for a week? I'm still opening them up and have the three I mentioned, and both Kicks and Leif have had the same items in stock the past two days. On the plus side, I took a trip with Kapp'n to an island that gave me wild wheat (Leif only had carrots available), which I dug up, transplanted and harvested. And each rock on that island gave me bells. I felt like I hit the lottery! 😀

@@ldcraig2006 One cool thing, is that if you buy a piece of art from Redd, he will replace it with a new piece the following day. However, the piece you didn't;t buy will also still be there. And like the other npc shops, his stock completely resets at the start of each week

If you have the bells, you could always order some of the fake statues (or duplicates of real ones) to not only cycle through his stock a little faster, but to also use those paintings and statues around your island. Of course, up to you. You could also buy art so he restocks and then sell any unwanted art.but of course you would have to spend bells every day for something you potentially don't want. All up to you, of course. Just depends on if you want to wait a week for him to restock

Not sure if anyone covered this yet, but in the DLC if you go to your restaurant and talk to the chefs they’ll give you cooking DIYs sometimes!

Once you have the hospital in the DLC, you can also visit and tell your receptionist you would like to see the doctor, and the doctor will give you an item as "treatment." I have gotten a mummy mask and a cast so far, lol!

I don't know if this is sth new, or if I just haven't noticed it before but my cranky villagers definetly seem more rude to me now (which i love bc it gives them more personality). I definetly had some dialogues I never had before, for example Murphy told me yesterday that he absolutely hated Kikis house, before he started a conversation with Bob, trying to educate him on insulting others. I can't remember these Dialogues being in New Horizons before but it was definetly extremely funny to me and reminded me of earlier games.

The fact that I missed for the first few days that you can buy vehicles on the Nook ATM. Just bought a bulldozer, and saw some other players with cars decorating their islands. Nice that those gas pumps I have in front of Nook's Cranny now make a little more sense.

So I just discovered that one of the islands in the islands tours is a Cherry Blossom 🌸 Island. You get a recipe using petals and have a chance to collect the petals to build. 🤷‍♀️ Thought I'd share in case it wasn't known yet.

Maybe because designs need to be transparent to fit on a path so most designs will have a single transparent pixel to make it work without being noticeable but if it’s on designs you could fit before that sucks :/

Nothing new at Nooks, Abel's, or Nook Stop, just trying to be patient and make it last, but still disappointing when I watch vids and see all the new stuff. 😔

@@books-on-a-wire there’s new items in the shops but it’s pure luck. I think that’s the problem. The islands and shop depends on how lucky you get. So much of the game you just have to cross your fingers to see if you get something you want
