Pro tip: Instead of getting the expensive Expansion Card, i’m pretty sure Seagate also makes External Hard Drives/Storage Devices connected by a wire to the console that plugs in a USB port. Usually they have around 1 or 2 Terabytes of storage and cost WAY less than the Expansion Card. Plus, they’re pretty small so don’t worry about it being connected by a wire. There are alternate variants to it though that have increased storage, but are friggin huge and cost a little more. I actually first learned of these Storage Units on the Xbox 360. I have one with 2 Terabytes of space on it, and while i *believe* they are designed for Xbox One primarily, they also worked on my Xbox 360, and worked the same way on Xbox Series Consoles. Sadly, most people for some reason pretend these devices don’t exist.

Yeah but don’t you have to transfer the game back to the console before you play it? That’s what I’ve been looking to do but that was the drawback that HDD or SDD external drives like that don’t allow u to play directly off it.

@@NewOrder4JoyDivision i learned recently not every game can play off an external hard drive. Primarily X|S Optimized games, or games made specifically for those consoles. Some optimized games can be played on external though, like Halo MCC, Skyrim Special Edition, and others. Mainly cause those two were designed for Xbox One, and remasters of earlier titles. I think the Division 2 can also be played on external storage. But it is super helpful, and moving games is faster than installing, so you can at least swap what games are in what storage. It’s faster if you have a wired internet connection

​​​​​when I switched my external hard drive from my Xbox one to my series s I didn't have to download any of those games again and could play them as soon as I booted up my series s if I remember correctly I think all you need is the account those games belong to on the xbox you're using because I'm 99.9% sure I played a game off my external hard drive as soon as I booted up my new series s red dead 2 to be exact they are also significantly cheaper than a storage card if you're talking about transferring the games off your external hard drive to your console then yes you would have to transfer them but transferring takes way way less time than downloading but you might aswell leave them on your external hard drive until you need to free up space on it

when i saw xbox accessories. i thought u were going to go down the line of of accessories that go onto the console its self or something that enhances the controller experience for stuff like racing using the controller in the accessory. i was thinking something along the lines of the vent cover or stickers or some form of stand or something like with what the wii had in which had plastic tennis rackets, steering wheels, plastic gun holders for ur remotes, numchucks and stuff like that.
