Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Despite its name, Battlefield 1 is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series, and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 21, 2016.
Battlefield 1 received positive reviews by critics and was seen as an improvement over previous installments, Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Most of the praise was directed towards its World War I theme, multiplayer modes, Single-player campaign, visuals and sound design.

Ok, there seems to have been a misunderstanding. My video is very similar to Tbag, a KZbinr who specialises in Battlefield 1 content. Whilst I have assured Tbag I haven't even heard of him, I can see the similarities and his video has over 500,000 views so I can understand his scepticism. I have offered to link his channel in the description and pin a link to it in the comments. My subs who know me, know that I don't steal or copy ideas and I hope Tbag will come to realise that too. Captain Eggcellent I already know Tbags channel and I have subbed to him and you already. Since he is a smaller youtuber than you, I dont know why people are saying "you copied". You are doing him a favour by spreading his ideas whilst referencing him good job and keep up the good work

1:14 this only happens because the heightmap is below the water line. The water surface technically covers the entier map and beyond because it is a flat layer. 4:25 the sound is separate from the casing landing on the ground. They are not connected as the visual part doesn't match the sound timing. The type of sound is based off the surface your soldier is standing on, the material of the ground.

The helmet could have a hole in it. The water could move slowly to fill the gap. The shells could fall or move when you walk over them. When the shell falls off, the sound of it hiting the floor is not synced with the animation of it falling. The weapons could get dirty in some parts, like the bottom part of the weapon instead of allways being dirty in the same patern. The clothes and body could also get dirty. Still. That's something for our grand children to do. Nice game.

I'm seeing a lot of comment claiming I copied these details from another KZbinr. I can assure you all this isn't the case, I researched reddit, the internet and various other sources to find these details. Do you ever stop to think where the other KZbinr might have found them? I have never and will never copy a KZbinrs video. I don't need to do it. For people who have been subscribed to me for a while know that I hate to use other peoples clips and that I will spend hours in a game just to record one clip. I see copying videos as exactly the same thing. I will repeat, any similarities between this video and any other video on KZbin is purely coincedental. Thank you.

There are thousands of people around the world doing KZbin so more times than not there is probably similar clips of Caps videos floating about too and that's just one of them things. Stop trying to get likes because to be honest it's cringe worthy.

my favourite detail in this game is that of the rifle reloads. When you manually reload with at least one round in the chamber the character covers up the bolt opening to keep the unfired round from being ejected thus not wasting that bullet as well as keeping the remaining bullet count accurate

The beach hole one is not a detail. There is water below the whole map, so when land gets blown up deep enough the terrain goes beneath the water level. The holes do not "fill" up with water, the holes just happens to be below the water.

I feel like most of the details mentioned here are things that games have been doing for years, or at least have appeared in previous BF games. Nothing here really made me say "Man, such detail!". Pretty standard stuff for the most part. Anyways, congratulations on your success in making a living from rehashing and pointing out the obvious :) I'm not jealous that I didn't think of it... In fact, I respect you for it.

They added minor details like this, that many players won't even notice, but they didn't add details like what effect throwing hand grenades in a living room might have on the walls, floor or even wallpaper? Cause they look pretty pristine apart from a small burnmark on the floor.

Awesome video. I knew most of these details but was good to see I'm not the only one who doesn't appreciate the amount of detail that goes into some games. Good job. Oh and BF1 smashes CODWW2

10 of the most amazing neglects of details in Battlefield 1: 1. You can see the soldiers breath in the game. ... while their chest and their facial muscles don’t move a bit to do that. 2. It is possible to blow holes into the beach. ... and after they appear, they are already immediately filled with water. 3. You can find bugs that crawl out of some of the drains. ... forever. Move a bit, and some more of bugs are out. Infinite supply of bugs. ... that disappear in plain sight if you watch them. 4. The amount of bullets you eject accurately reflect how many bullets were left in the gun. ... though when you fire them, the amount of ejected cases doesn’t accurately reflect how many bullets were fired. Some bullets are shot without a case being ejected. 5. Depending on where you are standing, the sound of the shell hitting the floor will be different. ... though, contrary to the speed of light being much higher than the speed of sound, you’ll hear them hitting the floor, while you see the shell is still in the air. 6. When issuing the Go! Go! Go! command you will first blow a whistle. ... even if both your hands are holding the submachine gun. All this time you are running with the whistle in your mouth. 7. When landing a headshot on an enemy, their helmet will fly off and land nearby. ... even though they have straps under the chin, which are _intended_ to keep the helmet on the head no matter what. 8. Crawling around in the dirt logically cause your gun to become dirty. ... you can even watch how the dirt appears on top of the gun, even if you see it never hits the dirt. ... but it still never jams due to the dirt, what is way more important during the battle than watching it becoming filthy. 9. When throwing a grenade near your soldier, he will begin audibly panicking. ... and when he tries to run away from it in through the little house with narrow doors holding a 80-cm-long submachine gun with the bayonet attached, this gun just glides over the corners and obstacles, as if it has no length at all and doesn’t touch them, like being painted on top of the screen. Or is it? 10. Walking over the mortar shells found around the map will produce a different sound than if you were to walk over another surface. ... the sound like if they are moving and rubbing each other. Though it is evident, some OCD-suffering engineer has spent a lot of time to weld them all together, so they don’t even move a bit while you are running over them. ... otherwise an attempt to run on the top of the hill made of mortar shells would be a bad idea, assuring you at least one fall in the process, but you never even disbalance while running over the round shells.

This video highlights some good practices that a lot of companies are using, and even then some of these aren't implemented correctly. The "accurately water-filling holes" are creating water out of nothing simply based on the sea level (though the craters blending together look nice). I'd be interested to know if the water ripples propagate to nearby craters. Lots of games use cold breath to show when it's cold. Lots of game have random bugs (Skyrim has bugs crawling on the logs of trees). Environment specific audio isn't anything new, and the sounds that are played don't even match with what the bullet casings are doing. The thing about the reloading gun ejecting the remaining bullets is cute, I like it. I do wonder if those bullets are lost when you reload. Helmets popping off are far from new. I'd say at this point that one is a relatively common practice. For the mortar footstep thing, that's not really special (again, environment based audio is far from new) but a little surprising that they made the effort. Is it entirely unique to walking on mortar rounds? Is that the only place in the game that empty mortar shells appear?

While the campaign was lack luster IMO, the opening sequence where you played a guy until you died and played a different guy 'til you died struck a chord with me in the same vein, albeit, less guilt and more compassion.

Also something really fuqing awesome I discovered in bf1. I was playing the map with the Ottoman fortress on hill near the sea. Another Ottoman playing was being shot in front of me and I had saved him by killing the enemy soldier at the last second. Just like when u panick after throwing a grenade, he other soldier said: 'Allah senden razı olsun kardeşim' in Turkish it means god bless you brother. I myself am Turkish and I was amazed how much detail they put in to even learn what words we exactly use. Youll be amazed what you hear soldiers screaming in a multiplayer match.
