I have bought 6 of these so far and 5/6 needed slight pivot screw adjustment to remove a little blade wobble but these are AMAZING knives!!! Buying cost effective/budget knives is an addiction of mine and I have Ganzo, SRM, Flissa, Kershaw, Gerber, Ozark Trail, everything out there. Gave these to 3 friends and they all absolutely the knife.

I picked one up at Walmart today and have to say, it’s impressive for a $10 cross lock folding knife. It’ll make a great edc beater knife.

OKAY. So I've done live streams on 2 of these now. 1st one took 7 hours of cardboard slayer like a champ, tonights went 6 hours before I physically couldn't go any more but it still had more edge to thrash. I'm simply amazed. That being said look out for the common QC issues. Warped/unevenly ground blade and bad centering.

I bought a couple and they are solid. No flex in the scales like benchmades and the action is drop shut. Ive been collecting knives for a long time and its honestly mind blowing getting something so good for the price it just goes to show how overpriced the knofe companies are using super steel as justification to charge 150$ for a knife with a plastic handle

I bought one the other day. It will do what knives costing 10 times as much will do. I will never wear out this knife. Will I break it? Maybe. I could also break one of my expensive pocket knives. If you have a chance and find one,(I had no problems) buy it. You won’t be sorry.

Yes so true!!! I already did a test where it outperformed my $60 Petrified Fish! (Not sure if this test has a name, but basically I opened it and in the lock position I hit the spine with a piece of wood). Long story short I bought 12 of them!! 😂 Nice budget knife. 👍

Honestly, even if it’s not super rugged it would be a decent edc knife that you don’t give a shit about. Lose it? O well $10. Break it ? O well $10 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looked at a couple walmarts, wound up getting one out of box (display model), rang up for 5.98. sharp enough to shave with, seems decent. Took it apart- the pin size is smaller than a Leatherman surge and substantially smaller than the Milwaukee hardline. bearings are plastic caged. well oiled, blade didnt wobble.

Outpost 76 did a sharpening test on it. (Love that he came back, btw) His results were that it is comparable to other D2 - right about middle of the pack in performance. I got one this week, and I agree with your review. Even $30 knives aren't going to be displaced by this, but it beats the heck out of gas station specials and what Ozark Trail was selling 6 months ago.

Picked up two, opened one. My sample has a poorly centered blade when closed, almost touching the liner, after pivot adjustments. The blade itself is slightly bent. Otherwise would seem a decent toolbox, work bench or camp knife. The orange handle would also make it easy to spot if dropped outdoors. Action seems quite good. Very slicey. It's nowhere near as thin and light as a Bugout, but hardly anything is. Definitely worth $10 if the blade is straight.

Ok so your not the only one with that same issue. I bought one today and it has some blade play and it to was off centered closed. I tightened the pivet a little, a tad better but the tip has a slight bend so still off center. I was wondering who else had that issue on there's. These knives are hard to find so I'll just keep it. Otherwise pretty sharp d2 and fun fidget knife for $10.

@MoonChild0678 I've been carrying this knife for 3 weeks and I like it more now, in spite of the blade bend. For all practical purposes, it's not really an issue. The action is great and the edge is still good. For 10 bucks, it's hard to beat. Even better if the blade is straight, lol.

I finally found one today which is the last one they had at Walmart, mine to had blade play and the blade was off centered because the tip has a slight curve. I tightened the pivet some helped blade play a little. Just my luck, these are hard to find so probably keep it. Otherwise pretty sharp d2 and fun fidget beater knife for $10.

I picked up the tanto also love how it sits in the handle and it’s so smooth when I first opened it I thought it was an auto it was so smoooth. I also recommend the grey handle tanto blade.

I have this one and for my taste it needed a drop of 3 in 1 oil on the lock to archive a 9 out of 10, and i do agree the pyrite lite knife have a better feeling and mechanism, the question to everyone is if that deserves double or triple the price! and yes, this leaves everyone on amazon out of the park in the $20 or less price, I already bought another one just in case!

I bought 4. They look great, work great and best of all, they are easy to get a screaming sharp edge on. Put it on my LANSKY and its a razor. For sub $10, and in orange, its all win for me. Let the snobs who think buying an expensive knife makes them cool go buy BENCHMADES, good for them, spend that bank roll. As for me, I paid $10 for a great little tool and Ill spend the rest on my house or something more useful. Time and money are at a premium, I dont like wasting either on BS that is over priced and over hyped. I dont care for status, status dont cook in the pan or pay bills.

I have a lot of knives and my daily is either a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 or Endura 4. Those have been carried due to quality vs cost. Not stupid expensive but very good knives. But I still hate using them for some tasks. If I’m not carrying one of those, I have a Higonokami that I like for many reasons. I got two of these and now I will carry one over the Spydercos. These make me very happy.

I got mine 3 day's ago and I love it. I purchased a lot of knives so far this year mostly $50.00 and up. Every now and then I'll see a $30.00 knife like my CJRB PYRITE LIGHT and purchase it for the great value for the money. This new OZARK TRAIL D2 knife and the quality of it for only $9.97 will definitely be the best budget knife of 2024 for sure in my opinion.

Great video - I have always liked the Benchmade knives but they are not at a price that I can easily afford so this $10 knife is ridiculous, in a good way. I wish the handle would be in different colors but yea, it has the general look of the Benchmade and i am not the kind of person that beats knives up too badly so this could be a good one for a camping bag or toolbox, even EDC. I also liked the 704 knive that you presented - yea, you got me with that one! It looks like a great option, I am glad that I saw it.

How can you test if this is real D2? I would be very interested. I bought 5. 1 to abuse and 4 for my church boys when we all decide to go on our next camping trip. I'm liking it so far. I must have gotten the only dud out of the lot because mine doesn't lock up and is basically just for show. Try gently walking the spine on a counter, make sure your fingers are out of the way just in case. Mine doesn't take much pressure at all.
