I want to share something that I got after a suggestion from you. I went to my local Home Depot and asked about donate strips. They had no idea what I was talking about until I described what they were used for. The guy who was helping me, Jeff (thanks again for your help!), walked straight to them, told the lumber guy he was taking some of his "sticks" - that's what they call them - and he pulled out 3 of them, about 4 feet long each. And they were free!!! Free wood is always good, especially with the cost of wood nowadays! YAY!!!

Awesome!!! That's why I try to give so much detail and show photos too, so people can describe them, cause I suspect they all have their own terminology for them. My guys call them scrap wood, lol. I am so with you on a crappy DT, mine is horrible. I hate that you can't get those things, but we wouldn't have all of your great ideas, if your DT was a great one. 🤷 You come up with some of the best ideas, to use unexpected things, like your cool whip bowl handles. ❤❤❤ I was just wishing I had some of that leather ribbon for handles. My Dollar store looks like a bomb blew up in it all the time...boxes, products ,trashy shelves and yesterday half the shelves were empty .....could hardly get thru the isles.....with all the Dollar Tree DIYers out there you would think someone in corporate would wake up and make the stores more presentable and fill with good items...... This metal shelf is adorable.....it gave me an idea for plant shelves using our left over barn metal and old barn wood... Nice video.....now if someone out there knows a Dollar Tree CEO tell them to please clean up their stores especially in the Hocking Hills of Ohio.....
