Hi there, I'm afraid that this year's Nativity Scene closed a few days ago, on January 9th. However, you'll most probably stumble upon a sand sculpture or two during your walk along Playa de las Canteras anyway :)

You repeatedly mispronounce Vegueta. It is pronounced "Vegueta" and not "Vegüeta". Ask any Canarian. For that matter ask anyone who lives in or near Vegueta.
