Khewra Mines are called ROCK SALT MINES. This salt is natural salt. Combination of WHITE SALT and PINK SALT. This salt is not treated chemically. It is used "AS IT IS" after grinding. It is also called "LAHORI NAMAK", though it has nothing to do with LAHORE. Different handicrafts are made from this ROCK SALT. Like GLOW LAMPS (electric bulbs are used in these lamps), FLOWER VASE and so on.

Bhagat Singh's house (Haveli) is in Faisalabad (Layllpur) Punjab Pakistan not in India. It's about 12 KM away from my house. It's a famous tourist spot in my city.

Last year I was in Lahore after 50years and I went to offer my prayers at the Wasir Khan Mosque. What I loved about it were the artistic renderings which PunjabReel host called meana-kariyan. These meana-karian are NOT religious: UNLIKE I have ever seen in a mosque -- these are artistic -- in nature; unique artistic renditions in a religious setting are joyful in nature depicting birds, plants and flowers. I found the place had a joyful aura maybe because of the artwork.

بھائی جان دھلی کی جامع مسجد مغل شہنشاہ شاہجہان نے تعمیر کروائی تھی اور لاہور والی بادشاہی مسجد شاہجہان کے بیٹے اورنگزیب عالمگیر نے تعمیر تعمیر کروائی تھی اس لیے دونوں مسجدوں کی مماثلت نظر آتی ہے اور مینار پاکستان پر قیام پاکستان سے سات سال پہلے پاکستان بنانے کی قرارداد پاکستان منظور ہوئی تھی کہ مسلمانوں کے لیے انڈیا کے شمال مغربی صوبوں میں علیحدہ ملک بنایا جائے قیام پاکستان کے بعد 1966میں اس جگہ پر مینار پاکستان تعمیر کیا گیا تھا پاکستان میں صرف ایک مغل بادشاہ جہانگیر کا مقبرہ ہے

When Hindus used to go for Tirath Yatra, the temple of Hinglaj Mata was considered to be the most difficult. Which is located in Lasbela district of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Many pilgrims lost their lives due to accidents and difficult conditions on the way. But now the government of Pakistan has provided many facilities for pilgrims there.

Bhagat Singh was born in a suburb of Lahore, (then) India - He was hung with 2 other prisoners in the Lahore Central Jail (there is a pic that can be found on the net) and his body disappeared ... the British Colonizers did not want a following. We don't know where Bhagat Singh was buried or cremated 😞we don't know where his final resting place is or where his aches were scattered. His suburb/town exists and its well-known for its Sikh-style langar and mahmaan-nawazi.
