@@Jaycation I would have to say the downtown as a whole. I'm from NC and haven't visited as much as I would like. The harbor and coronado island are breath taking when you land in SD.

Love those boards! Been to a lot of these places on bike!! Mission Bay, Beach and San Diego are the best! I highly recommend the Bahia and Catamaran resorts for first timers to San Diego Mission Beach area! Very family friendly!

If you need a place to stay in Mission Bay, I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay. Just beautiful views of the bay, a nice pool and excellent customer service. You can also do water craft rentals or go whale watching from there.
