I remember playing Alex Kidd on the Sega Master System when I was a kid myself. I remember it being pretty difficult.

I assumed it was hard as I was like 5 when I played it initially. But the remaster didnt feel too difficult and there are ingame cheats for infinite lives etc Some of the boss fights can be a tad tricky but after learning the moveset it shouldnt be too bad. Let me know if you give it a go :)
