11:52 I just wanna point out that it's unlikely for a March release, considering we're getting XCX:DE that month. That said, XCX:DE will likely be the last or second-to-last release prior to Switch 2. If I were to make a launch prediction, I'd say anywhere between the latter half of April and the first half of June, with May obviously being my main prediction

I desperately want a new Tomodachi Life. However, I am so incredibly scared of what they'd do with it. Switch Sports replaced Miis with those new human looking characters, and I'm nervous about if they'd do that for Tomodachi Life. Please Nintendo keep Miis as the focus of Tomodachi Life🙏

The Switch 2 will probably be revealed on January 8th 2025. Rumours say the console will have a 9 in the launch title and that could be Mario Kart 9. It could launch with 32 tracks and no crossover characters and get DLC packs adding crossover characters and double up the tracks to 48. It’s weird that the Blue Falcon is in the series but Captain Falcon isn’t. So why don’t they come in form of the DLC? I want them to ditch the metal characters, Cat Peach, Tanooki Mario, Peachette, the Blooper Item and Coin Item, make the Koopalings alts for Bowser Jr., the baby characters alt’s for each other, Dry Bowser an alt for Bowser, bring the Fake Item Box, Mega Mushroom, Pow Block, Super Leaf and the Ice Flower back, add commentary as the Arcade GP series has it, bring Mission Mode back as it was supposed to return in Wii and add Professor E. Gadd since he was going to be in DS, and by October, we could get Super Mario Journey. By March 2026, we could get a new 3D Kirby game, possibly a sequel to Forgotten Land. We could get to see playable Elfilin and Clawroline for the first time and they could bring back the Dream Palace Allies as well. Halfway through 2026, we could get Splatoon 4 and Pikmin 5, considering a 3 year gap between Pikmin 3 Deluxe and Pikmin 4, by September, we could get a new Zelda game, considering a 2 year gap between Breath of the Wild, Link’s Awakening remake and Skyward Sword HD, and by the end of the year, we could get Super Smash Bros. 6 and hopefully they’ll ditch World of Light, bring Subspace Emissary back and update the movesets of some characters. We could get Super Mario Maker 3, Luigi’s Mansion 4, Super Mario Galaxy 3 and a successor to Super Mario Party Jamboree by 2027 as it’s been 5 years since we had Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3. They could add a Mario Wonder game style to Super Mario Maker 3 so 3D World isn’t just the extra game style and they could bring the Amiibo costumes and the Weird Mushroom back, for Luigi’s Mansion 4, the game could be in an Airbnb and we might get to see Luigi save Daisy for the first time in the series and for the successor to Jamboree, everyone from the previous Mario Party entries could return like how everyone returned for Smash Ultimate. By 2028, we could get a successor to Paper Mario: The Origami King, considering a 4 year gap between that game and the TTYD remake. I hope the console sells well. I probably won’t get it day one, or maybe not at all. I might wait for Smash 6 to be announced and then get the console with Mario Kart and get other games later on.

I think we will get 3d mario as launch title for switch 2, and mario kart 9 as the holiday title along with legends za, Metroid prime 4 will be a summer title (2&3 shadow dropped in February), some ports/remasters for switch 1 maybe kid Icarus uprising, f zero gx, and wind waker. I think Finn wolfhard should be cast as link he has a more youthful look imo.

@@metroidjones122 I don't think so. I learned more about this tweet and someone asked them if it was a remaster of Star Fox Adventures straight up. They didn't say no or give a hint towards some other series. They stated something along the lines "why limit it to a remaster then a new game". It also helps that the original tweet itself pointed out this games "traditional zelda" like qualities and being received better by Zelda fans. Star Fox Adventures while a good zelda like game wasn't liked by Star Fox fans for that reason. Also them capitalizing A in Adventure. But who knows, it is admittedly a weird choice but this is the same company that approved the forced motion controls in Star Fox Zero.

I think it might be neat to see Ralph Ineson (Clive in FFXVI, Galactus in the upcoming Fantastic 4 movie) could be a cool choice for Ganondorf. He’s just got such a good, deep voice. I could see him making Ganon feel like such a crazy imposing threat easily living up to Matt Mercer’s interpretation in Tears of the Kingdom. I feel like seeing Monolith Soft’s next project entirely depends on is Takahashi the only team working on something right now. I believe Nintendo commissioned a new Xenoblade game towards the end of 2022 and Monolith Soft has done a TON of hiring in 2024 for a Takahashi project, which I have no doubt in my mind is Xenoblade, whether 4 or X2 it’s going to pick up whatever Future Redeemed set up because he’s cookin something. Another factor is do they need/want to remaster Xenosaga before the next Xenoblade. If so I’m sure that’d be an easy project that could come out in late 2025/first half 2026 if the Definitive Edition has already started on it. Nintendo has 100% been sitting on XCXDE as they sat on XC3 which was definitely originally a holiday 2021 launch. Based on that history I do wonder if Nintendo would even want to show what Monolith Soft has next because I feel like it’s releasing no sooner than November/December 2026 and if they wanted to do an XC2DE in 2027 (which I think is the last game that could really use one) they could totally just let the next Xenoblade have a good long time in the oven and sit on it until 2028. I do hope holiday 2026 is it though.
