It's super interesting how many of these resemble decisions in visual art, but on a different scale. For pixel art, limiting your palette is a an irreplaceable tool, for all other kinds of painting, it's not quite as crucial, but it's incredibly important. It's interesting to think about a tree not just as a section of colors and shades and shapes, but of all of those elements as a discrete flavor together that I can recombine on a new level. I think learning how gardeners think might be making me a better painter.

I just bought this game. I read all the tips in the game and watched some videos like these. It helped a lot. Now my zoos wont go bankrupt. I love your creativity. I wish i could make a zoo like that but i dont even know where to start. My zoos always look like a cheap imitation of a disney park and some boxes

That park is breathtaking. Thanks for the tips. I’ve been completely avoiding planting and signs in my zoo. I’m hoping this tutorial will turn things around.

Thanks for these awesome tips! I´ve one more question: what are the plants in minute 5:20 on the right side and what is this path? And how did you made the grassy area on the left side? Ok, so in fact I had three questions, you are such a great builder, wow!

I love our videos, I always learn so much in them, this will help me so much in my projects. The only thing I already do for here is the palette thing, but as I don't know anything about plant, I tend to choose them by colors (as I'm used to do watercolor). I think it's help a lot.

4:39 I do thease realy "overgrown" Plants only in areas with little to no aces by animals or humans, Like on top of large stacks rocks or the roofs of buildings, etc... Because having very overgrown plants looks realy messy and unrelistic. And if theres a place like a jungle, where it makes sence to have a lot of plants Theres to little ligth to have a groud cover + in tajga biomes theres very acidic soil...
