Rashomon by Akira Kurosawa, went on to drive a lot of directors to make non linear films, in different different perspectives that's why those films are classified today as Rashomon effect films. 2 Indian films which employed Rashomon effect brilliantly were 1. Virumaandi (2004) Tamil movie by Kamal Hassan Sir 2. Ulidavaru Kandanthé (2014) Kannada movie by Rakshit Shetty Sir Love both the films and both filmmakers.

Arvind swamy tried some shortfilm and failed miserably, Karthik Subbaraj too could not handle heavy subjects because of this reason.
