Best interview I’ve seen with him guys, great job. He seems to have mellowed a bit maybe, in the public eye anyway. Very likeable person and the light set up was bang on! Saw the De Mysteriis gig in Brisbane a few years back and they were spot on compared to the album. And I’m glad he said Chimera was their last good album because that’s also my go to apart from the obvious

Thorngrave Spot on brother! Chimera and wolf's liar abyss are my two favorite releases from this band. I know that de mysteriis, deathcrush and lipzig are all cult classics and staples in the genre, but in my opinion chimera and wolf's... are just ferocious speed beasts and best overall/track by track releases with no fillers.

This is a great interview. I met him a few years back, and he was a very cool, very gentle man. We briefly talked about dead and that era of mayhem, and I could tell he deeply missed his friend. He had good things to say about that era. He was super cool. I almost forgot got to have him sign my record, I was saying goodbye, and he asked me “hey friend, would you like me to sign that?” One of my favorite memories of meeting a musician.

Mayhem is one of the greatest bands ever produced by Norway,which was rapidly able to become one of the longest-spanning career and successful black metal band of all time.And I consider Necrobutcher right now,as being a high profile key in Mayhem;mainly to uphold its highlight success constancy in the music industry whose band has been able to keep up making at huge degree until now.When we are looking upon the Lords of Chaos production reactions on popular culture I believe that can be wholesome for black metal especially Norwegian scene,then we are looking at that as well as interpreting just like an artistic movement which was able to flourish there.
