As an asthmatic I have to say that the use of Corticosteroids mid fight is insane, back when I was younger I used a spray inhaler with those, instantly after use the pain numbs and the lungs open while you get a considerable surge of strength
@jadenhansen8354
@jadenhansen8354 3 жыл бұрын
Well if us asthmatic people can't use what helps us out with a medical condition I don't see why fighters can go out there with their legs wrapped cuz that is giving them an advantage so there leg won't hurt as much. At least thats how I see it. Or some fighter have people help them stretch out in the middle of rounds.

@@jadenhansen8354 Exactly, I mean the advantage is so big sometimes that it is clearly cheating, I myself used a bit extra when the pain from working out was too much. Honestly, even though the 12-6 elbows is a dumb rule, it's still an illegal technique. Regardless of whether the consensus is that it's a dumb rule, it's not like a fighter should be awarded a win for kicking a grounded opponent in the face because fans and fighters think that disallowing kicks to a grounded opponent is a dumb rule and PRIDE NEVER DIE.

One thing that is annoying. The officials grab and follow the fighter after they’ve won. Let them celebrate for godsake. Understandable if the fighters have a history (Khabib McGregor) but other than that. Let them have their moment.

And I think that's only because women usually don't get kicked in the p-bag. From my best friend's gf, taking a groin shot hurts like a bitch even if you're a woman, but come on. Having that rule is total bullshit and it's not surprising the only MMA promotion that still does events in Illinois is a women's only promotion

It’s weird to think a fighter needs both knees or hands on the ground to be considered “downed” when we watch fighters place a single hand down all the time to avoid certain strikes to the head. The rule is stupid all the way around to be honest.

And these are examples why individual athletic commissions are a bad thing. I don't think the argument for those knees to the downed opponent were delivered accidentally. I think they meant the attacker didn't realize his opponent was down when those knees were thrown.
