I think the Make-A-Wish thing is woefully undervalued. It's not like they were all granted now, when Cena is barely on TV. They were at the peak of his career, when he was one of the most active guys on the roster. His schedule would have been absolutely daunting between TV, house shows, interviews, meetings, travel, and who knows what else. But he still made the time. It's incredible, and honestly the one thing that should convince some folks out there of why Cena didn't ever turn heel after his peak.

@@singaporesammy If the first part of your sentence was "I want to respect his work" then what is stopping you? _Where_ is this emotional breakdown supposed to happen? In public? On camera? On social media? In the papers the next day when he's caught walking barefoot by the side of the road calling himself Jesus after a mental breakdown? I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just trying to merely say just because a man doesn't cry in public doesn't mean he doesn't cry, period. I doubt he's doing it to be the Make-A-Wish GOAT. It takes something extra to _not_ bawl and cry at these poor kids situations, and instead remain positive and "make the kids wish come true". Something that I don't have, for sure, I'd be a wreck. But, if you really need that reinforcement of emotion... I would imagine none of it is in front of the children, but when he is thanked by the parents in the next room away from the children. The emotions aren't with the children, but their parents. The children don't and shouldn't need to know what is happening, let them believe in magic... a real wish, by a real superhero.

After awhile the whole John Cena face never a heel thing got me heated, I mean I hated his in ring persona, but I know in the end that all them kids he was giving hope to is what means the most, I mean we can always go back and see a match we missed or something, But can your go back and change someone's life for the better any ole" time? So I accepted that fact and I'm glad that somebody that's as huge as Cena was in the industry that he was humble enough to do all the charity work that guy has done, You can't knock John Cena the man in that aspect, In some ways he's like a WWE preist guys got a heart of gold

As much as I would love wrestling to be mainstream again when I see the smiles on those kids faces when John Cena spends the day with them, it makes me realise why WWE have booked John Cena like that, and as cool as it would be to be popular again in the mainstream, I would rather make those kids happy, and if anyone wants to criticise me go for it.

Like many, i didn't enjoyed Cena's run as the top babyface in wwe for many years ... But outside the ring he got my respect as soon as i heard about the Make a Wish foundation (this goes way back, maybe early 2010s) ... Also, there was this rumour that he donated big money to Chad's family under a fake name to not draw any attention to him. So yeah, Cena (next to all the guys in the list of course) is a pretty damn great dude.
