Hi from Peru. I left the UK, the rent is too damn high. That plus the politics of the UK is sending it into the ground for the next generation. Also, in the USA, race issues seem to be totally embedded into the mental fabric of the whole of society. Even if the racism stopped, the belief that it hasn't stopped, would keep it alive. Other countries are not like that.

This wasn’t about minimalism, this was about a left leaning person whining about capitalism. Capitalism and minimalism are two separate categories of things. You can be BOTH a fan of capitalism and live a minimalist lifestyle as well. Anyway, poor people spend all their cash and have nothing to show for it in exchange other than “nice feelings”. Smart people will spend their cash on things that can be resold later on. A vacation worth $2,000 and you come back empty handed. Where as a watch worth $2,000 serves a purpose and it can be resold as well. It’s an ASSET. Memories aren’t assets. Expensive dinners aren’t assets.

I do like to point out that all of the issues you've stated are not unique to the US. Many countries also have greater national (race identity) contributing to the greater potential of racism or outsider discrimination. Also all of these problems can be solved by finding a community in the US that fits you better. We have 50 states of varying personalities and cultures. Just do a little research and save yourself the danger of culture shock. You can become just as isolated if not more by leaving your home nation like that. This is not to a discouragement, but rather a warning to carefully think your actions view. This comment is more so for people other than the dude making this video, who has clearly at least thought things through to some degree that he feels the need to justify his action.

I love Brazil and the area you’re in. But your list is everywhere. this man is oblivious. he’s walking around in Florianopolis, the south of Brazil which is very safe. As for the rest of the country he is claiming, is violent just as the USA if not more. Hopefully he doesn’t get a get mugged while walking. Healthcare in Brazil is a mess. Break a bone that needs surgery? get in line for half a year. If he were trying to make money from Brazil, it’s near impossible to get ahead. The only reason this makes sense is because he’s an expat or bringing in outside money. Brazil also deals with racial issues depending on the region. I visit Floripa every couple years. Wife is from Manaus, Brazil. It is very, very challenging for the people to get ahead who are actually there. The wealth gap between poverty and wealth is terrifying. Hope this guy finds happiness in Brazil. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows and every country has its challenges. Best of luck. Edit: this creator is now in Chile..? So there you have it. A nearly impossible luxury had he come from another country such as Brazil, unless he came from wealth or a privileged family. Sounds like the USA is pretty damn good if you ask me. Hopefully he can salvage the expat life to make this all possible.. or.. until his next trip home to hoard cash for the next trip.

Random gun violence in america is actually very rare. Like getting struck by lightning. When they count mass shootings they count gang members who actually know each other and are shooting only at each other, thats why the numbers of "mass shootings" seem so high. But if your just a regular person going to work every day essentially ZERO chance youll be shot by anyone.

I'm not saying don't like it leave in a bad way just that almost 200 countries in the world I hate everyone wants to change the one that's different to match the rest. And why are there so many rules? Because people turn to govt and demand action for every little thing that happens. And politicians are gonna do something so they can be seen doing something. Take prohibition for example. It was a minority of women and people wanting to make money on the illegal trade who made it illegal. A bunch of Karen's complained to congress and they made a law that gave rise to the mob. People demand action then we all pay. I prefer govt do little to nothing they mess it all up anyways.

This guy chose a terrible region to live in, because the south of Brazil is very racist and prejudiced, even towards Brazilians from other regions, they call themselves Europeans and it is a cold region with beautiful beaches and cold waters, the northeast region is very most beautiful, beaches with pleasant temperatures, as there is summer, all year round, and the cost of living is very low, look on yt for the states called Maceió, Natal, João Pessoa, Salvador in Bahia (the only African and beautiful territory in Brazil ) Porto Seguro is also in the south of Bahia, this place has paradisiacal beaches, exuberant nature, cliffs and summer all the time, and in the southeast of Brazil, there is the beautiful state of Minas Gerais, where the cuisine is the best in Brazil, lots of nature , wonderful mountains. Rio de Janeiro is beautiful, but it's better to go for a walk there, never think about living there, this state and its terrible rulers have surrendered to crime and corruption.

He’s wrong about guns and mass shootings. Another npc that believes what the tv say. Most black folk follow the mainstream news cycle so.

We left almost 3 years ago. Best decision ever! Couldn't afford to retire in the U.S. Life is beautiful again. It's like a whole new life 😄

I’m glad you’re doing well brother. I’m a fellow military veteran and I seen your why I have no friends video. I was at that same point in life 5 years ago. I started to reach out and say you gotta change your mindset and presentation in order to see changes in life. Changes in friendships and relationships come with that. Looks like you pivoted in the right direction. Sometimes that change takes you to different places. I feel your spirit, it has changed and I’m glad you are enjoying this short time we have here in this world. Keep doing what you’re doing brother, you are helping pulling people out of the fire. Greed is destroying America. Yah bless.
