Amen! I agreed to do the Sunday services at our local assisted living facility but knew I would not be able to prepare sermons by working on them for hours and typing them up. I simply read the texts for the day and meditated on them for about 15 minutes. Most of the time I never even wrote a single note, and on those occasions when I wrote an outline, I never looked at it again. I was stunned that my messages had more power when I relied 100% on the Holy Spirit than when I had previously substituted for ministers. (I am not a pastor, I am a doctor, so I was not drawing on experience and education, either. Please understand my heart: this is to give glory to the Holy Spirit, not myself. Give it a try - God will not let you down.

That is so sad. 😟She misses out on so many wonderful things like praying in tongues which is such an amazing gift. I am so incredibly grateful for the presence of the Holy Spirit and the ability to pray in tongues.💕🌈🙏
