So nice to see such a positive video. I lived in El Paso for 25 yrs ... I retired 10 years ago & moved away. Big mistake! El Paso is definitely a great place to live. To the naysayers: if you're unhappy because the nightlife is not like Las Vegas, and your only requirement is clubbing, well that's not a valid reason to besmirch a lovely place like El Paso. El Paso has this video's 10 reasons, but there's even more not mentioned. ❤

Was born in El Paso in 1956 and lived there until 1980 great place to grow up my family had three restaurants in downtown The Mills restaurant was right next door to the Plaza Theater. Going to Juarez after the bars closed in El Paso was routine The El Submarino or Fred’s both great bars we never had one bit of trouble going back and forth. My 50 year class of 74 high school reunion is in a few weeks I hope to make it.

I love El Paso for my own reasons… this is where I was first exposed to Spanish and the Mexican culture. The people of El Paso are so kind. But nothing beats the view of the Franklin Mountains ❤️

This is a funny city to me. I drove through their actual city in less than 3 minutes. I hit all the green lights. HAHA. This city is like Charlotte. It is tiny BUT the sprawl is big. LIKE 23.
@michelldooley17747 ай бұрын
Idk what actual city you are referring to but our actual city is comprised of west side, east side, central (downtown), northeast and a section we refer to as far east. It takes 28 to 45 minutes on average to get from far east to the west side depending on traffic, speed and route you take. We are the 70th largest county out of 254 in Texas. We are the 6th largest (population) in Texas and 22nd in the US. So idk what you thought you went through in 3 minutes but it wasn’t all of El Paso or even minute part of it. Walmart is 1.5 miles from my house and if I hit all the lights it takes 2 to 3 minutes and 6 if I hit lights. 3 minutes 🤣🤣🤣 but you do have alpha in your user name so I guess exaggeration is expected. 😜

This is the place where you learn to have faith in God because you want a better life. Everyone in our family and freinds grew up to be successful. We had good parents who worked hard to provide for all our needs. We. had the best teachers, we always enjoyed our time at school. Thank God for our life at El Segundo Barrio. .

I was born and raised in El Paso. El Paso is boring and no good jobs. People are always leaving to other cities, that is why it stays small here. I really need to move to another city soon. There is never progress in this city. People talk about the Mexican food which is good, but we are missing out on everything else. Sad but true.
