I totally agree. I ordered my cases the same day I ordered the phone sight unseen. I've since ordered an all clear case for those day I want to show of the phone's true beauty. I have 4 cases totalled - one girly one with sparkling bling; an ugly brown one that was supposed to be coffee colored with a little shine (not); a clear one that is nice sturdy; and a black and lime green hybrid one I received in the mail today. I've owned hybrid cases fór all my previous phones which keep them looking new.

just bought this Moto G Stylus 2021, I had a samsung and was a bit hesitant to go to the Moto phone but it was a good choice. I was unfortunately a Sprint customer / T-mobile and needed to get away from that garbage. lol. So i wanted an unlocked phone and decided to go with the Moto G, it is a very easy phone to set up and has allot of nice features, I think it will do the job nicely. I am now with Verison and I shall see how that goes and if Verison s...ks then I can take my unlocked Moto G to at&t. Unlocked phone is the way to go. great video!

I LOVE the Motorola devices that come in white. I always get stuck with a dull grey or dark blue. I want a white one for once! This phone is pretty nice, however. Even though they got rid of the Dolby-tuned dual speakers that the 2020 model had.

Motorola needs a smaller/mini option similar to the pixel 4a / regular s20. If apple can produce a good color accuracy on a crappy resolution cheap lcd for years, then motorola should be able to figure it out too. I was told the colors are more vibrant on last years moto g models - and i thought the colors were very dull as it is. Thats sad.

You are correct, the 6.4 screen on the 2020 G Stylus has 399 pixels vs 2021's 6.8 with 366 pixels (both are 1080 hd, but last year's also had dual speakers Dolby audio and that's missing in 2021).

Just ordered a Mortorla G Stylus 2021the other day. Had a Google pixel 3 that doesn't wanna work anymore. Only 2 years old. Went to 2 Verizon stores and got the same story. Phone is No Good and you need to buy a new one. Well, will not buy it from Verizon, that's for sure. Hell of a lot less expensive on-line, So, watching videos to get up to speed on the new phone. In 2022 it's still an excellent phone it can keep up with most of your activities. Gaming, calls, texts, googling. It's pretty snappy still and it's less than 200$ I got mine for 179$ plus tax which made it come out to 191$ it's an excellent phone for the price don't pass it up if you need a cheap phone. It took it a little bit for me to get used to since I was upgrading from my Samsung Galaxy a12. But after a day I got used to it

I got this phone for $190 and with consumer Cellular anybody can use consumer Cellular they have unlimited data talk and text. You might think to yourself that they tell you in the commercials that it's for senior citizens and actually anybody can use consumer Cellular. What I like about this cell phone is how fast it is how powerful it is when I play games on it or watch a movie or stream KZbin or go on social media. And I like how much gigabytes it holds 128 GB. And on top of that you can put in a 1tb SIMs card in your phone. I have a hundred and 250 GB SIMs card and my phone. This is a powerful phone simple and easy. I've always been impressed with Motorola cell phones. On how smooth they run and how powerful they are.

The finger print reader looks like it was made for left-handed people. I'm a right and hold my phone in my left hand, so my thumb wouldn't be in a spot to be read like yours or is there a reader on both sides. I like it better in the back and in 5he middle then it doesn't matter which hand you're holding it in.

Oh how I love this, when my phone rings I can either answer, screen, or decline the call. When it screens the caller identifies themselves and give the nature of their call. That way if I don't have time I can call them later with the information. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.

LG hasn't decided if they're still in the smartphone business, or if they're going to sell that off to a South Korean Company (LG makes fantastic screens). I would be surprised if there is a Stylo 7, or a K , or a 2nd Gen Velvet. I was actually surprised Motorola debuted 4 different phones so quickly (wasn't expecting anything until Easter). I would consider the 2021 G Stylus an upgrade from the G7 Power (G7 Supra), but I considered it a bargain if you're switching to Metro and porting your line for $20.

I picked up the moto G stylus 2021 and I'm loving it. I had a pixel 5 but the screen was so small. The moto still has the majority of the Google features of the pixel 5 but with a much much bigger screen. Also the stylus is a nice touch, especially since I create a lot of thumbnails. The camera isn't as good but If you download Gcam on the moto phone it does an amazing job. I also haven't seen any issues with the 4 gigs of ram.

Hi, my G stylus has a feature that when the phone is not bring used, the screen turns one to display the clock and then goes back to sleep mode. It does this once every few minutes. Is there a way to disable this feature? It's annoying when I drive at night. Thanks

Hello, it's doing this because the Motorola phones have a feature where if the phone is touched or it senses movement or vibration it will turn on so you can see the time. I'm not sure how to turn it off but I do know if you don't touch the phone it shouldn't turn on.

@@jacobrohner1009 it is distracting when i drive at night. The light turns on and it gets very bright in the car as i drive. So if i leave my phone on the front passenger seat and i look at my right mirror to turn right, the bright light was reflecting on the windows and not allowing me to see.

Idk if ne1 will be able to answer this question becuz it's kind of an odd thing to ask & there may be ppl who won't even understand what I'm asking. I'm asking becuz I use this all of the time when I don't have time to type the message & have to have my hands free to do other things but the person I'm needing to text is at work or in bed & can't talk on the phone. I have the LG stylo 6 & have had several issues with it so I wld love to upgrade to the Moto G Stylus, however I need to know if it has this particular feature that I've ONLY been able to find on the LG stylo phones....when you go to the text message icon and want to send a text message but don't want to type it out for whatever reason, you can send a voice clip. Facebook Messenger has this but you can only leave a 1 minute voice clip & u have to hold in on the button the whole time & other phones also have this feature & can leave longer voice clips but you have to hold in on the button with those phones as well. With the Lg Stylo's you can leave up to 10 minute voice clip & it's hands free....you don't have to hold in on the button, so my question is, does the Moto G Stylus have this feature....where you can record(and then send) a 10 minute voice clip without having to hold the record button the entire time?

@@roadrunnerorange - correct 2020's had dual speakers Dolby audio (I don't know why Motorola didn't carry this over for 2021). 2020's had a 6.4 screen but it has 399 pixels than 2021's 6.8 screen 366 pixels (I think Motorola should have gone for 6.7 with 399 pixels). Both have Android OS 10, Motorola says they are upgrading the 2020 G Stylus to Android OS 11 (I'm guessing the same time 2021 receives the same update , too).

in my opinion yes, I just did. Bigger screen much better fingerprint sensor, granted loss of stereo speaker is a down grade but overall given that for me it was a $50 dollar phone after I sold my 2020 G stylus it was an easy decision
