I picked this off of Mercari, for about, $44, with tax and shipping. I don't like it more than the original explorer, but it is very nice. Please don't listen to all reviewers, because fragrances are very subjective. Something I like you may not like, and visa versa.

I bought the original last week and I got a 7.5 ml sample of this one. Not bad, a bit boring but like you said, probably a good choice for hotter days. However the original works great during summer as well and smells much classier and interesting. I guess in the summer hot days for casual situations where you don’t want to smell too classy this one could be a good choice.

To me it smells like a cheapie version of bleu de chanel combined with aqua di gio. For $40 or less it compares to dolce and gabanna light blue in that clean fresh blue vein. Easy to wear and has decent performance.

True man… like there’s this chick on KZbin that dislikes Mont Blanc explorer because idk why but it’s one of my top 5 and everywhere I go I get good compliments. Like wtf, how can they dislike this? Now, there’s another fragrance that is called club de nuit by armaf, I decided to buy it and give it a try (without smelling it) it has so much Lemmon that I can’t even lol, it’s nice. But i wouldn’t choose it over Explorer.

I smelled it a couple days ago and it was ok at first to me. I don’t want to judge it right off the bat. I’ll give it a few more tries and try to understand it better. Plus they sprayed it on a card since I already had on a fragrance I didn’t want it sprayed on my skin. I’ll try it on skin and see how it does in the heat. Not going to write of off so fast. But MAAAAAAAAAN that dolce light blue forever was a buy right on the spot for me.

I definately do not get "fruity" from Ultra Blue. The thing that stands out to my nose is the pepper and aquatic notes. I get no fruitiness at all.

I think the original explorer would have been much better with some oak moss. The birch and Oakmoss are the main differences for me in comparing Aventus to Explorer.

People don’t care or know what fragrance you are wearing. So if you think that a women/men is going to think you are wearing the latest fragrance, you are wrong. You can wear the cheapest fragrance, that it’s not too strong and you’ll be ok. I wear different fragrances, work for fragrance companies ,and I get real complements from wearing “AXE body deodorant spray” APOLLO version $4.99😄 These KZbinRS need to keep making videos to sustain their channel. Cannot be trusted. Todays best fragrance is tomorrow’s not so good “ buy this new one to get the most complements” . Also remember they get gifts from businesses that sell fragrances.
