I am just checking out your videos as I really enjoyed your last one (A+). I love your content. I come from a none I.T. background. In fact, my I.T. Skills were poor. So, I decided to take the I.T Fundamentals, which I have my exam next week. I am feeling confident but not overconfident. As soon as I pass, I am jumping straight into the A+. My issue is going to be the materials. Reason being is... I was recommended to buy the Fundamentals Book (FC0-U61) Which I did, but... there were questions that are not featured in my exams. I bought the premium materials which lets me take free test along with an e-book. Personally, speaking I have learned far more with the exam material than with the book itself. Just for the note, I love computers, my only wish is I leaned computers at an earlier age than an older age. Once again Mr, thank you for your time in making this video for people like me. Much appreciated.

I resonate with this a lot. I entered IT with essentially no formal experience working with computers. It was daunting to make the leap but looking back, I am glad that I did. I have been learning nonstop since I joined the field, and enjoy the challenge. Imposter syndrome does tend to creep in sometimes, but I always remind myself that even the most experienced IT pros were in my shoes once. I tend to be a more hands-on/visual learner as well, so I definitely feel you regarding reading the material. Reading on its own is helpful but does not solidify information quite as well in my experience. Good luck on your exam and I'd love to hear how it went!
