The camera has a weird range in receiving light I think so it over contrast the whites. I'm guessing the ground doesn't reflect much of the surrounding light due to its texture and the vomit is glowing because light hits it. The same with the board. It isn't glowing.

Hey Nuke! The shape that floating object takes at around 3:43 to 3:45 on is something I've seen before a lot as a kid when I'd close my eyes before I went to sleep. What if we’re in a simulation and the ghosts we see are just the creatures/scientists studying us from outside of the simulation. And we just happen to see them sometimes even though we aren’t supposed to. And maybe when objects move or get flung randomly it’s just the memory system of whatever is powering the simulation failing to remember where the objects were placed. It’s bound to happen since it’s simulating so many individual objects at once.
