Tip for the Mantis ship: delete the two lower engines and the bracers. They are just dead weight. Makes no sense but that’s how the builder works. Increases maneuverability and jump range for free while keeping the same top speed.

another tip for it if using mods that allow you to edit ships to more than allowed max size change out the reactor for the one of 4 of the flat ones that mod allows you to do add 2 more of each of her weapons then redesign the inner area of the ship as long as you keep the basic layout it will still trigger all of its in game things just dont change the colors or the front half of the ship and keep the 2 top engines

In 1962, Kurtz began a series of Children's books, featuring Óscar. "Cosmonaut Óscar" tells the story of a boy and his pet Goose Kina, who decide to build a rocket. Although the adventure ends up being considered "just a dream", the truth is that Oscar travelled to other planets where he met socially advanced civilizations. This allowed for the introduction of a series of highly topical themes and was surprisingly advanced for its time. This could be the Kurtz its referencing, her name is Carmen Kurtz and was a winner of the planet award for her books.

Regarding the baseball, I found one in Barrett's ship when I started the game, so I don't think it is unique to the museum on Titan. As for it being a shout-out to Fallout 4 (Diamond City), while that might be true, it is at the very least a reference to the famous (or notorious) Boston Red Sox's playoff debacle, when they lost the deciding game of the ALCS due to the heroics of Bucky Dent. As Bethesda's development staff has at least one member from Boston (his childhood bedroom was recreated in Fallout 4), this might be a direct call out.

you can find them in Elite Dangerous. at first they were very hard to find, even if you knew exactly what to do it still took 45 minutes to an hour to accomplish. once you found them you could scan them for the real "welcome" audio. now it still takes 30 minutes travel time but you can go straight to Voyager 1, Voyager 2, a real deep space probe that was launched in the early 2000s, and a fictional one that is launched in the "near" future. before the process was greatly simplified it was considered one of the most difficult things to accomplish in the game even with a detailed guide. A possible explanation for why the baseball is referencing the 1978 Boston Red Sox is because of a famous series (note: for those unaware, the term "series" in reference to baseball means a collection of between 2 to 4 games to be played consecutively between 2 teams) in which the New York Yankees absolutely dominated the Red Sox in what became known as baseball's "Boston Massacre." It is known as one of the most infamous sports collapses of all time as the Red Sox were doing very well all season until that series, and would eventually miss the post season by one game, while the team that dominated them, the Yankees, would go on to win the World Series Championship.
