Thank you! I'm starting out again after so many years and a long break from sewing. I never perfected my skills and I am eager to start learning again. This time I want to take it to the next level and probably start a business. I've been starting with knit fabrics something i have never done. I made a skirt just recently and I had some sizing issues, but I would probably give a C+. However, I learned alot from just doing it and your right i was so afraid to cut my fabric that I wasted a lot time. But once I cut it the fear left. Thank you for the tips and I am forward to your next video. ❤❤

My first dress was a jersey dress not perfect but my first love.. the simplicity Mimi g pattern. I loved these tips .. I finally figured out how to do a button. KZbin is so valuable. Another great video. I do think I want to start using my insta to chronicle my makes. ❤

Whenever I’ve taught someone to sew, we take lots of trips to the store to feel fabric. Feel first and then look at the fiber content on the edge of the bolt. Once you’ve done it a lot you’ll notice yourself figuring it out before you look.
