It has diverse cultures, with Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western influences evident in its food, architecture, and traditions. Despite its small size, Singapore boasts lush green spaces like Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Island's beaches. The city is famous for its strict laws and cleanliness, making it one of the safest and cleanest places to live or visit.
Despite its small size, Singapore certainly punches above its weight. From being the 5th biggest arms importer in the world, hosting the fastest walkers in the planet to having a millionaire out of every 6 people, Singapore is definitely doing something right that is worth sharing with the rest of the world. I'm a Singaporean, and this report made me laugh! The author/producer has missed out SO many unique features of Singapore, like: 1. More than 80% of Singaporeans live in public housing, in clean, green and amenities and facilities filled housing estates all around the island. The video only showed the shopping and business centre's of Singapore, completely omitted any mention about the most elaborate and successful public housing scheme in the world, resulting in almost ZERO homelessness in the country. 2. Singapore has one of the best, if not the best, public transportation system in the world, providing connectivity via public transport to EVERY part of the island. 3. Eating out is SO very common in Singapore, with hawker centre's and food courts all over the Island providing delicious, nutritious and very affordable food in a variety of Asian and Western cuisines. 4. It is one of the safest countries in the world, with an extremely low crime rate, and a VERY high level of personal safety. It is completely safe for ladies (not just anybody) to return home alone in the very late hours of the night, without ANY fear of personal harm of any kind. In reality, the video has really done a half-baked job, only providing a skewed view of Singapore, perhaps just to pander to an American audience.

Singapore's separation from Malaysia in 1965 was a blessing in disguise. Just look at where they are now, Singapore had become a developed nation, first among equals, while Malaysia had remained stuck in the thrid world category. Limit by positioning(my theory) to disturb an area with gases or with scent(even without - Neutralized), torchlights like a dot or smaller than Laser size to pain or ache to create body to move, and sounds by hired-unknowing-injury(a mastermind if challenge a $6 just to horn will it work or not?), something like the bracket. 7mins 53s if add pillars under it then on sea to be floating bridge, to fish at the bridge like nice idea, middle of it to be toilet. To live the common sense of life choice and desire. Fishing is favourite of men they create forgetfulness by dormicum or sleepgas(or mix) I think, for men to die and lose the moment of "seeing life a nice way". Tent and camping is also favourites of people about adventures, it's something like that: about growing up into losing the moment and can notice actually they are trying to create accidental deaths.

From his comments, it goes to show that he has not done his homework well - like someone mentioned to him that 80% of the population is housed in proper apartments. In fact, it is 87% of the population has proper and good housing with more than 2,000 kms of covered walkways linking the bus-stop to their homes. You don't find this in America, UK, Australia, France,Germany, Spain, Portugal and countries in South East Asia. This is one of the many ways that the Government has shown care and concern to its people.

First of all we don't have high school level which is same as secondary school and NSF is normally after Junior College or Polytechnic or ITE which will be called on. There isn't any law on flushing toilet after use but only encourage to do so. The law is on throwing rubbish and also not bringing back the plates and bowls after eating. The wealth is not correct. The household might seem very high but it paid over 20 to 30 years and doesn't meant everyone here have so much deposable income. Walking fast is something might something ingrain in us but it's really much. The caning is not that common but for more problematic crime. Furthermore, it's cane with a rotan and not a cane and it's not just bend over to do it. Singlish is a combination of various form of languages and dialect use here and it's more that just those mentioned. Somehow I felt the facts isn't well research on for doing this clip and it's having a lot of mistakes and misunderstanding on some of the topics discussed.

Would anyone seriously think that one could get fined for NOT flushing the toilet? Have you seen CCTVs in public toilets?! And which civilised human being wouldn't flush after using the toilets? It's just the Singapore government's way of reinforcing civic mindedness and maintaining public hygiene at all times. Don't even believe this for a minute - much less highlight it as a fun 'fact'! 🤣🤣

They don't look too shocked. None of these items are really that shocking, especially if you understand the rationale behind them and the real outcomes that've come of them. For example, national service goes waaaay beyond just the surface purpose of providing 'defence'; it enables the country to remain sovereign and neutral. Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and Finland all have national service too, and historically are well known to be neutral countries (until recently for some of them). It turns out to be incredibly profitable and liberating and free to be neutral - you aren't bound to any external alliances and obligations. And the access to clean water and sanitation part is actually one of the most important, universally recognised human right, and there are many in the world who do not have access to it. It's not just a whimsical thing to do with some 'obsession' you think Singaporeans have with clean toilets. They are advocating and trying to turn it into international law in order so that governments globally can be held to account to provide such a fundamental right that many especially in poor countries lack access to.

Beneath the indifferent expanse of the world's geography lies a tapestry woven with the threads of human despair and fleeting triumphs. Mountains stand as solemn witnesses to the passage of time, their peaks untouched by the fleeting concerns of the villages that cling to their slopes, where generations struggle against the harsh elements. Rivers carve relentless paths through the land, oblivious to the civilizations they nourish and destroy, as cities rise and fall along their banks, each one a testament to humanity's fragile ambition. In the vast, desolate deserts, the shifting sands whisper tales of forgotten empires and lost souls, where once-thriving communities are now reduced to ruins, buried beneath the relentless march of time. The people who traverse these landscapes, with their dreams and despairs, are but momentary disturbances in the Earth's silent, eternal void.
