This is an absolutely awesome video. You really are putting more fragrance houses at the forefront. Lorenzo Villoresi seems very interesting to my nose. I can imagine wearing this fragrance to a family gathering. I really love tobacco fragrances. I also really need to get my nose on the Roja. That seems very interesting to me. Thanks for all you do.

Aight, I know I’m going to disappoint some people on here that know me for my trolling, but I have to be serious on this one…Field Notes From Paris is one of my favorite frags, and I’m so glad that you are still mentioning this in 2024, JC. So incredibly underrated and undermentioned, and this was the frag that introduced me to the world of niche perfumery. It’s one of the few frags that I think can be defined as perfectly unisex, and it’s beautifully complex and alluring. A scent that is tied so strongly with scent memories, and when I think of it, it brings me immediately to a rainy fall morning in a coffee shop. Simply incredible , and anyone that hasn’t gotten their nose on it is truly missing out.

The wife called a Bloomingdales in Miami, bought Tabac 28 over the phone and had a friend send it via mail to get to me by Valentine’s Day. Man, that’s love. Love the fragrance as well. If I ever go to Miami it’s definitely 2nd bottle worthy. I have far too many fragrances and can’t say the same for any of them except Tabac.

For those of us that have skin that produces a lot of natural oils (thanks Norwegian, Irish and Scottish genetics) Royal Tobacco is amazing the way it lingers and doesn't start to break down after 3 hours. I know some people are blessed with skin that allows fragrances to dwell on the skin for an age and two to three sprays of RT are more than enough, but I find I need 6 (neck, wrist, chest x2). You may shudder at the thought mate- but this is tried and tested with feedback. RT's drydown is superb, I get a lot of the olibanum, fenugreek and bourbon vanilla in the 4th hour onwards it's just such a stunning blend the way it changes over time.

I feel like showstopper fragrances are for those that do actually wear for themselves and not just fishing for compliments because like you say, they can be pretty unique or polarizing. Always fun to hear your choices!

Of course I'm going to mention Journey and Royal Tobacco because I'm an admitted Amouage fan but my absolute favorite tobacco ever is an attar made by Sultan Pasha called Tabac Grande. Just the smoothest, sweetest tobacco perfume ever made to my nose. Sultan's work and his philosophy as a perfumer just checks all the right boxes for me. :)

Tobacco is one of my favorite notes. I want to try everything mentioned. I have a sample of Amouage Royal Tobacco. I wasn’t stunned by it. I was sort of let down. I need to spray it again. Atman Xaman and Precious Liquid Tobacco Royal sounds great too and I really want the Tabac 28. I’ve been looking for tobacco fragrances to add to my collection that aren’t redundant to Red Tobacco and Herod.

For my first tobacco I blind bought Naxos. (Yes I have sinned) I like it but never expected it to be so fruity. It smells good and very versatile. I'm also someone who doesn't like gourmand fragrances.

I like fragrances that use tobacco. I just bought an essential oil for my diffuser tobacco vanilla. It may have something to do with the fact that my grandparents grew tobacco when I was younger the smell of dry tobacco in the barn reminds me of going to their house when I was younger.

I had a sample of Tabac 28… kinda dissapointed. On my skin it was just sour rum with small hints of tobacco. Opus XIV: Royal Tobacco is a masterpiece, frag 4life. I would like to try Tabac Dore from Bortnikoff and Signature Tabac from Zaharoff

A Tobacco fragrance that seem to never be mentionned or almost, is The Odd Fellow's Bouquet by Atkinson's. It definitely deserves more attention even though it's been discontinued a while back. A Gentleman's Journey made a review of it.

Hi Justin great picks as always. You tried recently one of the most gorgeous scents being Platinum Egoiste, and speaking of tobacco, you should try the OG Egoiste ! It's a great tobacco cinammon and rose combination that smells a little bit old school but it's so sophisticated and elegant.

One of my favs is Oud Malaki, more of a tobacco scent than oud, ive said it before but Chopards malaki line are must tries bro, Rose malaki is a beautiful masculine safran leathery rose scent, i think you’d enjoy that one too, the others are great too :)

Love tobacco perfumes. I tried a clone of Tobacco vanille and loved it. Royal Tobacco is a MONSTER, it is so powerful it is ridiculous, having said that, I loved it.. Will try the rest. Justin did you try Smoking Hot from Kilian? I thought it was an amaazing tobacco scent.

My favorite fragrance is Tabacco Toscano from Santa Maria Novella,a beautiful dry, smoky and woody tobacco (almost pipes like) with a subtle hint of vanilla at the end. Unfortunatly is a Eau de cologne and the performance it is what it is. I've been looking everywhere for a longer lasting similar fragrance but still no luck. Any recommendation?
