As a female, I feel obliged to leave a comment. You have so perfectly described a NARCISSIST and what is the day to day treatment that the partner receives. Personally I have never known a female narcissist but then again, I have never had a sentimental relationship with a female to know how they may be as partners. I have had this treatment from my MALE partner since he got his foot in my life. He did not treat me like that before. Why would I have got into a relationship with someone who was going to have no respect, concern or consideration for me? Why would I have got into a relationship with someone who wanted to change me into his dogs body? They never respected you, not even on day one. What they saw was a caring, sensitive, intelligent, giving human being but who was ripe for the TRAPPING. The intention was to TRICK you first with the display of loving, attentive behaviour. Then to TRAP you by formalizing the relationship. Then they begin the training course. "I WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO SAY AND DO. I WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE!" The insults, the put downs, the silences, the isolation from every other person that you knew. They never even thought of RECIPROCITY. Right from the first moment that this predator saw you, it was about THEM. There was never any room for you in that relationship. You are the intruder, your real inner self is the third party who is not required. That is the one that THEY do not want. THEY want the one who runs rings around THEM, full stop. They do not know respect for anything or anyone but least of all you, you, you despicable, shameless, pathetic, loathesome, useless waste of space that you are (to be polite). I have said to mine many times, "I don´t know how you can want to be with me if I am all that!" Toxic you say, men are poisonous in relationships. I have only had one good one. But as The Darkness comments below, neither do they have any respect for themselves, that is what you WILL bear the brunt of each and every day of these NARCISSIST´S lives. I have recently begun my fight back. I even say it in my books, if I do not begin to believe in myself again, he will destroy my mind. Please do not let any lower or higher than yourself destroy your mind, body and soul. My body and soul were defiled and destroyed so long ago now that I think solely of my mind. My wife only sees my mistakes and weaknesses and neglects the sacrifices and hard work I am doing for the family. She even called me crazy several times when we had an argument before in front of our kids. As a man, being called crazy hurts deep inside as if I will explode. I heard one time her friend called her asking her if I could help him with work-related stuff, and my wife said "What will he be able to teach you?" as if I don't know anything. Never thought my wife would not respect me but last 5+ years I noticed it happening. Had some people tell me that they noticed it happening but I wouldn't accept it. A few years ago I confronted her about it she first denied but then came clean that there was no respect and no trust at first when you tell me why kept saying she didn't know. Last year I noticed her lying countless times letting my daughter disrespect and criticize me. Didn't defend me when my 14 year old daughter disrespect and treat me like s*** cussed me out. Even day she has absolutely no respect and allow my daughter to be the same way and act like a little b****. Now that being so many years dealing with it, I come to my senses and is now filing for divorce. Just pay the damn child support and in peace away from it all holding my head 🤣🗣️ high.
